Btw, is it the "MaxSignalsToFollow" i should put to 1 for it to only take one trade...or do i have to edit this manually in the mq4 ?

Fellow traders, my friend merlin, I believe these two ea slope peaky and c1borg have good strategy.
The strategy is let the two slopes agree (this gives trend direction)
and if you want let it also agree with peaky direction, Then look for trades.
When looking for trades they are filtered lower moving averages but also Price channel.
After a trade is opened , it can be closed by cash loss to close all trades on a particular pair or it can be closed by another ea managing the basket.
If a trade has gone in bad DD it will be recovered by 1- Bollinger Band rules 2- Price channel reversal rules
I suggest a loss to close all trades on a particular pair to $ 18 and then have a 60 pip distance between trades.
Example if a trade is -$6 recovery could open a trade . You will now have two trades. If market moves another 60 pips against you
then loss position will be initial trade -$12 second trade -$6 = -$18 Both trades will be then closed. To a certain extent this is another recovery attempt method.
Forward tests are being done now , to prove whether really the stragegy is that good. Though, if it fails is it the strategy or just the settings.
I am testing two settings
1- PPeaky M30 and H1 with Slope 7 H1 Slope 10 H4
2-c1borg settings which is no peaky slope 5 H4 slope 5 D1

If you could join in to try other settings it will be great.

I will say this if you put 1 it will not stop recovery trades from being taken.

Lastly, there is going to be a difference in results when comparing awesome 2 ss with c1borg.
The stragy for these two ea's is the same. All coding of filters and indicators the same.
But awesome 2ss has a bug some where in it . I believe the bug results in the ea only using one slope to filter trades.
That is why you will have difference in results, that is if you trying to compare the two EA's.

I would not encourage to inform the stevehopwood forum that their ea has a bug.

are very complicate ea for me.... i dont ever now about slope budda fly or peaky what they do but if the strategy is good and profitable... no problem to put live.

I guess since the bug is making the ea bring in lots of pips, better not to fix it.
it is like a car has 4 gears and one stops working , the car still moves except that broken is making car go faster. extra benefit.

Profit has rocketed on the TE. Now to see if the basket equity manger will work and close. If it does then testing days will have begun nicely

Well the basket manager worked nicely on SPR .
Still waiting to see work on c1borg instance, it has not yet because it is still rocketing

equity Basket manager failed to kick on c1borg. Had to intervene manually

Trying to find an equity trailing EA that can work is proving to be a thorn in the flesh.
Any help with one that works will be greatly appreciated.
Anyways i have tried to modify the current one being used.

Have you tested the Multi Purpose EA ?
