Hello Vittosoft , just trying to be of some help. Page 1 of this thread is SO DEEP WITH INFORMATION , that IMO , the content of this page MUST BE UNDERSTOOD COMPLETELY , before the step is taken to enter a trade.

Trust me , I have many , many trading "scars" to show for my lack of knowledge. ANYTHING CAN AND DOES HAPPEN !!!

Personally , I would NOT have taken the position that you have decided upon , YET. My answer to my reasoning is on Page 1 of this thread , and it is VERY CLEAR.

I am trying to help you by bringing "something" to your attention , but , YOU have to uncover this "something" yourself. Thanks to those people that were patient with me and pointed me in the right direction with this trading system which made me a much better trader.

I sincerely hope that your trade works for you , anything can and does happen !!!

Today closed EJ for +1336 and EA for +993. Very profitable day and still have few trades in NZD and AUD crosses left to mature. Thanks Davit for the guidance! All the best!

EA H4 +90pips ..... good setup ..... reject from R100 back in2 the top of the zone R78 .... nice breakdown through red news no changes expected ...... notice the retest on R78 ....... all good

EURJPY - Good amount of pips on this pair today. Should have went short at R100 and R78, but every trade is a learning opportunity!

hey cescof ..... IMO there was nothing on the chart 2 tell u 2 buy ..... everyting was say'n to sell both TA & fundies ...... ive noticed a few of traders doing this kind of trading ..... its like a pivot martingale method

Did enter yesterday and price has seemingly stalled at the R200 level since. I have not yet added to the position following my first entry.

Some may say this is risky with US news today however my thoughts all week have been that this USD rally has been a buy the rumor sell the fact..

I can honestly see GDP coming in lower than 2.0%, estimates of GDP from the fed were dropping lower and lower throughout the back end of Q1 and went from a ridiculous forecast of 5.5 on Febuary 1st to 1.8 at the end of march and now back up to 2.0. Even if it comes in as expected at 2.0% I still don't see that causng any major moves up.

Many companies came in with better than expected earnings this week and STILL were down when the market closed. If even better than expected earnings can't help then there is no reason for me to think that the USD rally will contnue if GDP comes in as expected.

Good setup for me GBP/NZD but to much fear and i've to learn to follow and and add orders...(don't look at new indi with wrong offset)

Reading an article on pivot trading, the following stats just hit home how powerful the method really is. Reinforces the concepts of thinking in probabilities, mainly that the further price moves away from the weekly pivot and towards the 61-100 zone, the higher the probability that it will (at some point) revert towards the weekly pivot. The study sampled 21 pairs including majors and crosses, but excluding exotics over a 15 year period; 5% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 5.4 days. 25% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 8.6 days....
Follow up on some of the pairs mentioned above;
Excluding the USD pairs which all continue to display weakness given the USD strength - there were some great set-ups this week

EA - highlighted as hovering around R78 and has since reversed to within 20-25 pips of pivot - over 100 pip move with minimal risk
EC - highlighted as R38 which technically isn't the sweet spot of R61-100 - but look at PA over past few weeks, this level initially acted as support, which over the last two weeks has acted as resistance. TDI showed nice divergence so another decent set-up with another +125 pip reversal over the last 2 days.

EN - another that midweek moved into the R61-100 zone, without trading at the weekly pivot and has since retraced +125 pips

That's before even mentioning other great set-ups, that had already traded at the weekly pivot level EJ (one of my trades this week), GA, CJ, etc.

Gotta love this method. Look at GA ranging for the last 5 weeks - loads of fantastic set-ups as price bounced around the S61 -R61 zones over this period.

Also a big missed weekly pivot at the 1.7920 zone. Will it head there? I don't know, but the stats around probabilities say it will at some point (75% of missed weekly pivots are hit within 52 days) and we are 25 days past this missed weekly. Just something to bear in mind - especially as Davit so often mentions squeezing the most out of every swing. This GA down move looks like it could have more momentum. TDI angleator is red and down across all timeframe and we know missed pivots can often act as magnets for PA to move towards. Green pips

Agree with GS re NU trade - far too much USD strength to consider the long on NU. If you're new to this method, go back to the basics, read the entire 890 pages, (most important page however is page 1) absorb the ideas, go away and study the set-ups, paper trade or even better still - try real trading, but with one entry at 0.01 lot size and concentrate on price action in the 61-100 zone. Get real comfortable doing this over and over again and then the fear will go.

Best advice on this thread is the concept of your own weekly plan. You can't trade unless you have defined some parameters for your potential set-ups. That way you have no fear. No-one posting, trade set-up ideas or details of their actual trades on this platform, knows where price is going to go in the future. But you have to stack the odds in your favour by creating an edge that applied over and over again, over a sequence of trades, means that you trade with no fear or emotion, but with probability on your side.
