Quick H4 Outlook

  1. My plan for next week is simple this time: I will look to sell this lady as close as it gets to 1.23456 level and then watching if intraday candles stay below it or not. I think some 20 pips SL above this level would be safe not to get hunt.
  2. Overall targets would be the lower part of channel (blue envelope line), roughly: 1.2260 area..

Hi, hope you have a good weekend. I got one question for you though, what do you think will happen to this pair as the US attacked Syria this morning? I currently have sold this pair since 1.2335 and set my TP to 1.23. but I don't really know how much a big gap we will see after the market opens on Monday and in which direction it will be...

And exactly why I dont use a four hour chart it has you in the wrong loop on the cycle ,, and perfectly sums up what you just said ,,price isint doing what it should based on an indicator , , it should be read as it is because its not the right chart and gives many false signals maybe not false just not at the right time . One of the reasons why I say all the time frames used should be telling you the same thing . If you look you can see it every where ,, trader sediment has suddenly started shifting to highly negative when price is actually trying to start up but atm the odds are not much downside ,could all change on the open but getting close to 24 again is not out of the question the only useful thing off a four hour chart is the 200 sma because it is a rough monthly price average ,,, just my opinion ,I lost enough to come to that conclusion based on trading off a 4 hour chart,, Longer always better lol . On the charts Fridays trading put in a little inverted H & S pattern with a projected tgt somewhere around 2364 ish ,,,,,, price also closed above the rough monthly price average ,, a weekly price average ,,barely ,, and just slightly below a daily price ave . It also closed above the the magic 2312 level which is the 50% level of this range its been in up here ,,speaking of ranges it was in one for 2 years at the bottom ,,hopefully not the case here but it could be around here for a long time just saying . The weekly box I posted for the box traders ,, sellers took a crack at the 50 level ,,didnt even get it there ,it then climbed back up to close right around the top of the box ,, next week is a new week ,, any how a few charts and then some indicators from same charts posted together, daily chart ,8 hour chart and an 80 minute chart . Which is the one that says at least one more little blip up to finish the stochs pattern . A 20 pip tgt dont sound like much but then you have to look at what other levels are around ,, now its up towards the high on the daily chart then it keeps the 8 hour above the 50 stoch level which then starts to pull the daily stoch up to finish a pattern that will look similar to whats on the 80 min chart stochs. Regardless of anything it always comes down to what level holds or folds that is 1st and foremost Have a great week end all.

Possibly testing 2240 never out of the question Quarterly pivoit and 2 trend lines ,,ascending and descending of nature there ,,but its gonna have to break below the neckline of that little 8 hour pattern ,,,,,,,,,tried to thursday and friday ,,still closed above it ,, and weekly ave price and daily average price both above monthly ave price and closed above quarterly open .may try again from 24 ish ,, but longer chart patterns may be kicking in again ,,back to the level thing ,, the neckline hasent folded as of the close Friday. Time will tell .

Hi. We don't really know. Mostly technicians here

Joke aside, it depends on the 'consequences'.
Use common sense (is all we've got against randomness) like:
If keep it sounds like a 'victory' until Monday, USD up.
If conflict escalates, USD down.

I believe that the MMs will continue to take the advantage of the situation and create high volatility in a range bound, with no proper direction... thats my view

Looking at momentum indicators, nothing is indicating a diversion, however, there is slight indication towards an upside move on lower TF.

I feel that if it stays below the dotted line below, in the 1.23375-23400 range, should move back down below 1.23. Random news events barring.
Longer term I still think it is a wide range play.
