No, structure analysis only consider open and close but not wicks.

Well, someone else's wick might be your open/close with tick charts.

Just got back from watching the new movie "Rampage". Today was it's first day out. So, far, I have one trade that was -24 I had gone long a bit early and got taken out. Then re-entered. I was confident that this long would play out, so I put in 5 contracts. It looks like the bulls have some power so far tonight.

Your trades I find pretty good.. your targets always seem to be a little too big.

Looks like we finally got a break above close above at the 24432. Well maybe I shouldn't say we, since I don't know if anyone else has that level on their charts.

But this is the second time that price has made a crack at this area of resistance. It was above this area around April 6th-ish. What do you think?

I see it going higher then apr6th (yes ) high before falling lower if sellers want to dump it.. Question is do we have enough momentum to go there today. might be asia tonight for continuation play . That's why taking some profit off table then adding if the right setup comes along is a good plan.

127.2 and 141.4 tend to get hit before a pullback to a new base. for next push (rotation) higher.

p.s Fib drawn from previous day High/low.

You are right that it did go higher. It was close to my other level. My levels on my screen aren't the customary fibs.
Just something I am testing for higher volume and then regular fibs for lower volume.

I am glad to see your chart and know that we look at the same higher volume chart.

Locked in some profit. It looks like it will hold, but if not, I see a possible bat pattern that can let me reload and continue higher.

also the trades I assume are medium term trades which makes the bigger target make sense.

I just expect a 1:1 all the time, regardless of whether the expectation has failed. That 1:1 may be relatively deep/shallow depending on by how much the expectation failed.

I am practicing setting my targets for high volume areas. And once I feel like I am getting better at marking my high volume areas, then I will start practicing reading more of the action in between these areas to better capitalize off of the lower order flow. Nevertheless, when I get a good bar by bar on the higher volume, I try to take notice. As far as momentum.. I think it is reliable to some extent, but I feel that depth and projection are stronger future indicators on the lower volume areas. I could be totally wrong though.. So... practice, practice, practice.

It did come close to my stop.. looks like it wants to pull back.

They all work together. projections, reading strength etc. I don't worry about which is better, I just use all the tools available to me that work..

FYI: Your plan sounds good. since you were a teacher, seems you have a plan going forward.

You are right about using the tools.. my problem is recalling them for use.

I am a language teacher. However, my major is international Relations in business. Usually, once I understand a concept, I can explain it with very sharp detail to my students. For example.. the word [of].... most English speakers know how to use it, but don't think about what it means. It means "originate from".

so.. Son of a b*t*h... literally means.... A son that originates from a b****.. lol. So, I hope that as I understand reading price action more, that I can then help others with a strong and clear explanation. I don't want to ever have to tell some one that some areas of price action are some acquired mystical skill. lol..

My learning curve hasn't been the greatest. I have spent countless hours reading books that turned out to be nonsense. I think getting clear direct info on trading is difficult. I better stop rambling.. lol
