This a great chart, and one reason why people get banned. This charts shows why all the components have to be there. This also shows why no other indies are needed for this method. Notice I said method ( not system) . At no point has Davit said he is the end all be all. He is not a guru.

Davit is a PA trader. He puts this thread up because PA will react to pivots on the weekly charts based on the NY close. It is up to the newbie to find out why.

But back to the chart. Where is the TDI? How does the angulator look? It is not nice to see strength both above and below your trading chart? If you do this one thing, it will help to reduce DD.

You are obviously naive not to quote my post with your response when it is clearly in reply to what I mentioned. You are also immature (in spite of your age) not to understand the essence of this and any such thread and forum that are directed towards professional discussions about real trading.

You may also be a fool if you do not understand that Davit's job is not to keep reiterating to use the defined template, which newbies like yourself keep skipping for some reason and act smarter than others. So do yourself a favor and focus on your trading. If at all you are interested being a leader, help traders improve their trading by taking informed and smart decisions.

Pivot will be a great area to short if it reaches there. There's a multi yr pivot in that zone.

Did you hold all the trades from the beginning or you closed some in that period? I know you are not worring much about it but I see you had a lot in it. You have so much going on all the time so I'm thinking you had other winners running so DD wasn't much of an issue?

EU - Liked the look of EU, news has helped and i've added to it. It's looking rather range-y to me on the Daily. Would like to see this gain a bit of momentum and head north next week. Will keep it open.

Hello Davit. I've been on FF for exactly a year now but this is my first post on the forums. I really want to thank you so very much because of two things:

  1. Introducing me to Mark Douglas. It was in this thread that I came across his work for the first time and I have to say that my trading psychology and the way I think about trading has changed a lot in the past few days. Sure I know I still have a very long way to go, but I'm glad I've found the way because of you.
  2. This particular "EDGE". It is really fantastic and easy to understand. I started using it this week and I wish to fully understand it very soon. I am currently going through the thread pdf compiled by DrForexMD so I can catch on the important replies in the thread. I won't be asking any question yet until I've gone through everything as I know this is a long thread and so there is a good chance that it might have been discussed in the thread.

the pips indicator is programmed for forex. 5 decimal places. Index has 2 decimal places.
That's why he pays so much pips.
Index is a little bit different world. But it trades in the same way as forex and gold.

This system works on every financial instrument in the same way....

Vicky, that is actually in post one. The reason is that if traders keep bringing different templates in, it will dilute the thread. It is not about being smarter, the rules are very well defined. They were built over a long period of time. They really do work.

simple answer I believed in this trade and my SL was not hit.
I repeatedly said on this thread that TIME is a factor in trading-some trades move right away in your way some take longer and could even take weeks like my CJ
Importance for you is placing right amount of lots in right sizes so DD is not out of control and allow you to wait and close in profit.
Most of the times WP gets hit and you will be able to profit.In greater scheme of things all forex is in perpetual range its matter of what TF you are looking.
There is fractal nature to it.

my week was great.Idiots who accuse me of not taking losses should pay attention to gross loss.
When appropriate I do take losses and that's part of trading no emotion is invested on that.My week take is more then 2weeks of my regular job and best part ZERO stress!My issue now is taxes.....
I am going to go out of my way to say even average intelligent person can make profit from my system if they follow rules from page 1.To me its very easy....
and yes took me 5yrs to get to this "easy" part
