That is a good one. To check the trend on a bigger timeframe for confirmation to enter and exit(cut losses).

But lets keep the M30 to be congifurable - means you can change it in settings. That way, we can change it to H1, H4 or M30 itself.

And MA period also to be flexible. - so we can try 200, 90, or other so that we can test... multiple periods to see which one works better.

Since many weeks, I am silently following this thread and anxiously waiting for final product from Mr. Rodolfolm. I have tried some versions shared in this thread on demo and in volatility, they resulted in loss.

Sorry to go off the topic, anyone tried EA shared here? https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=716049

I have backtested this ea with 2 years data and also did demo forward testing. I have tested first time an EA which can survive all kind of market conditions (ranging / choppy / Sideways). I have tested hundreds of martingale / grid EA's so far, none of them survived, especially the months of May and June 2017 on EURUSD because there was spikes of 150+ pips in these 2 months.

This EA survived due to its unique signal feature and SL maybe.

sorry again for going off the topic. Just shared here maybe this EA will give some idea to perfect little grid rider.

Problem is intentions of the developer are unknown. The EA has expiry date. So it is no point taking it on and you are left in middle.

I have asked the coder. He clearly mentioned that he will put final product for sale. He don't have hidden intentions like other coders.

Hi guys, the EA I'm developing will be 100% Free. I have no intention of selling. I do it for hobie only and I like to help people.

i have tried to apply the R3PTAR_MindStorms.v1 USDCAD,GBPJPY H1 and i get the following error
- zero divide in 'Visor1.mqh' (84,61)

while on usdjpy i dont, any light

That's the bug I reported earlier. Insert the EA a second time on the chart and it should load without the error.

It's a good EA and it would be nice to see it updated with the latest version of xBest engine including the Equity TP function.

Don't want to bust your hope but backtesting gives you False results on that EA you mentioned because that EA trades on PERFECT market conditions with no slippery, but in REAL Account trading, I and many others had lost big money using that EA. I was on VPS with 2 ms ECN at ICMarket. I tweaked various parameters based on many suggestions on that thread and the discussions at soehoe site. Quick counter-trend trading can make you lose a lot of money esp on EUR and GBP with breakout news.

I traded that EA live for two weeks and lost money on many trades continously, I stopped using, stopped testing, and stopped watching that EA thread. That thread in your link was dead, the thread at Soehoe is DEAD too as all lost money on trading in live accounts, no new posts in weeks.

If you backtest BREXIT night on GBPJPY or GBPUSD, $700 turns to $70 millions with that EA, of course it's wrong.
