only liquid and uncorrelated pairs will be traded. breakeven false ,that ends scalping. equity trailer placed on separate chart.

the equity is closing nicely but failing to refresh to zero .fixed

Hi, pardon me in advanced I'm a newbie here.

I am trying out the V34 ea. I am not entirely sure of the concept, is it trading when there is a sudden movement outside of the MA band?

My EA is currently generating stop trade and delete and re-generating it all the time on 2 different currency pairs on my demo account. I basically retained all default settings, except enabling trailing stop and changing the lot size. What did I do wrong or is it suppose to be behaving this way?

Thank you Candy man for your EA!

I am afraid I have more questions,

the default stop loss is put at zero?

When I back tested this with this zero stop loss it gives very very good results. But once I inserted stop loss, I tried everything from 100 pips, 150, 200 up to 400, the results isn't so good (marginal gains)

How do you guys usually trade with this EA?

hi kevin, if you read page 9 and 10 you see explaination of how it works .
but the final analysis there are certain conditions that ea produces great results .then other conditions take ea into a terrible drawdown .
i have understood that using 5 smoothed moving average(SMMA) is backbone of trading strategy . trades are opened within the high and low of 5 SMMA
so now i trying to figure how when the ea goes into drawdown it comes out of it quickly .within two days/
you said My EA is currently generating stop trade and delete and re-generating it

which ea are you talking about swingtrade or PACv34.
PACv34 doesn't start with stoploss .stoploss are inserted when trades go into profit

Is there a parameter to disable this and enable a fix stop loss as soon the trade is opened?
Or just simple stop out even during losses?

Ah that's what the SL setting is for. Silly me

I just ran a multi hour optimization, somehow the strategy tester says that the optimum SL and TP is at 350 and 400, trailing stop is a must at 150 pips.
This is a 4 months test on NZD/JPY pair. Will continue to test it and feedback here if this is of any use at all ..

flashcrashnet set to false. but trades are still being deleted... and only left with arrows on the charts without the trade orders

Might I be frank...sanely please.
It's stated in many places that approximately 95% of traders lose. Read somewhere recently that 95% of EAs fail to reach performance targets. Of it's exact truth I'm uncertain.
But this I am certain of....
Most of these traders use methods and analytical approaches that have been used for yeas. Even decades. A guy says, "I can teach you how to trade profitably." Not so. You can't teach anyone how to trade profitably. You may teach one all the trading terms. You may teach one how to navigate the trading platform. You may teach one all about deviation and moving averages. None of this is teaching one how to trade profitably. Trading profitably consistently is at least 80% psychological. No one can teach you that. It must be developed and honed in the trader's psyche by self.
Guys have been pitching how they can make the "average Joe" into a profitable trader for many decades. None of this has happened and nor will it. Only the trader can conquer and manage the greed and fear found in trading for themselves. You can't buy it in a book or catch it on a webinar.
In my opinion the reason mist traders fail is the lack of self application. Becoming a master trader requires pure honesty, examination, criticism, and dedication of self to trading the markets. By default most are not ready to admit their own flaws and faults. Most aren't ready to spend 16 hours a day at the computer. Thus, if you will not face your shortcomings in the mirror, and vow daily to better them and remove them, you will never master trading. You must first master self.
Finally, believing you can enter the market ever day with a set of parameters/indicators and expect consistency in results is ridiculous. A reaction to an economic event isn't always the same. People make the markets move. Traders at large firms push buttons based on their analysis. Traders are people, with emotions and may at times respond differently to the same event occurring on a different day.
It is impossible to always receive the same response from an unpredictable moment. Every moment in the markets holds the characteristics of unpredictability. Interjecting a perfect mathematical science/strategy into an imperfect non science based market isn't even logical.

"And lose well"

Trading is about how well you can lose. Anyone can win a trade. Anyone may win for a minute. But very few can lose well for a while. The market only travels two directions. Winning a trade or a few is inevitable at some point. Losing well with consistency...... ISN'T.

every 5 min ,trading time frame, the ea check if there is a signal ,if there is it will delete any stops and place new stops.if there's no signal but there are stops it will delete stops

ok. what is profit and drawdown .so my 350tp wasn't far .good work

my eas don't expire. freely stevehopwood shared his codes freely i give. forex learning will never go far if we stingy

If I had $100K to deposit, I could take my pick out of the EA's offered, and quit working.
The thing is, how to get to the $100K mark without getting burned...

With $2K deposit, making 0.5% every day, it takes 3 years.
3 years of agony and pain,
3 years of looking at the account growing,
3 years of looking at the account accumulating DD,
3 years of hairpulling,
3 years of sleepless night,
3 years of waking up at night and scrambling to the PC to look at the results,
and than after 3 years, after becoming a shadow of one-selves, you are ready for retyrement. Not justs financially, but for sure fysically and mentally......

i never so anyone trading for living. someone is profitable but the majority is loosing money so....
we are all looking for good systems to win but only for investment not for leaving.

Hi CM! thank you again for all your hard work.

There is something going on with the stop loss, it closed my personal trades last time along with the basket (I might be doing the settings wrong?). It seams like its only looking at the magic number (1010) but it closed my trades as well. I'm scared its going to do it again. Any advice? or could you look into it please )

@candyman752: I get error message 130 wihle recalculating breakeven SL.

I use pac 34. Do I have to modify something?
