{quote} JagzFX_SDTR_MrdFX_v1_05 (see Post #1) Each of the four indicators can now be independently enabled/disabled. Hi Lazar. I know this is not quite what you are looking for, but I'm going away for a week starting Monday, so it may be a while before I can create a completely new PIN. However, if you set MBFX lookback=1 and disable the other indicators, the PIN will then function as an oversold/overbought indicator. It does not check for the colour change as you require, but you may be able to combine this with other settings (such as the trend...

Thanks Jagzuk this will be enough to start testing until separate pin is done

  1. Added new settings SRxx. You can now enable/disable individual Fibo Levels, and choose if they act as Support+Resistance or Correct to Pivot (previously called Reversal). In the Correct to Pivot mode, Support zones will only give Buy signals, and Resistance zones will only give Sell signals. In Support+Resistance mode, a bar touching a zone but closing above the Fibo line will give a Buy signal, and a bar touching a zone but closing below the Fibo line will give a Sell signal.
  2. Added new setting Choose pairs to trade. You can now choose between: Default list of 28 pairs, Own pairs, or Attach to this chart only. In this last mode, the PIN will only monitor the pair for the chart it is placed on. For example, you can open separate charts for EURUSD, USDJPY, etc. put the PIN on each of the charts (with the same PIN#) and the adjust the other settings - such as the Zone distance - independently.

Yes Jagz, we are probably looking for that. But if I want to trade 10 pairs with individual settings, do I send MUX to EAX signals?

If you set Attach to current chart only each PIN will control its own symbol. (If you look at Global Variables you can see that the pin only sets the variables for the symbols it is using). Therefore, you can set the same PIN number on different charts and you do not need MUX.

You can do the same with any of my PINs by putting 1 pair in the Custom pairs list. But this new setting allows you to create a template, and the PIN will automatically switch to the symbol you load the template on.

One limitation is that you cannot have 2 copies of the same PIN with the same PIN# on the same chart, because the indicator ids will clash.

FYI, regarding CPU issues that someone mentioned. My PINS are optimized to only calculate the settings for the pairs you have selected. Therefore, if you are using the PIN in individual mode (Attach to current chart), it will only do the calculations once, not 28 times. So the impact on CPU is limited. However, each copy of the PIN consumes more RAM. I would not suggest running 28 charts, but you should be ok with 10.

Hi, I don't have a signal on EURJPY (but i looks like I will have when that final candle closes). I have different fibo levels to you, maybe the PIN is not aligned. Does the PIN have the same broker offset as FiboZones?

You have the price at S61. You have S61 set to Correct to Pivot. The price is at support. The correct signal is a buy.

cescof has the price at S38. He ahs S38 set to disabled. There should not be as signal. Something is different with the FiboZones settings.

The first question has to be: why are the lines in a different place?

As usual fantastic work, just testing this and have a comment ...
"In Support+Resistance mode, a bar touching a zone but closing above the Fibo line will give a Buy signal, and a bar touching a zone but closing below the Fibo line will give a Sell signal."
Rather than the Fibo Line do you think it would be better to have the Fibo Zone thereby allowing for some "room"?
Just a thought ...
Thanks again

@jagzuk
Further to previous post, rather than making the zone a user defined number of pips perhaps a % ... because every pair varies in the "gap" between pivots using a percentage of e.g. if using weekly pivots, a % of the weekly range etc ...

@jagzuk
Is this worth consideration ... a "No Signal" zone, (for want of a better term) i.e. for the purposes of Entry a no signal is the user defined Zone above below the Pivot/Fib.
This should help to alleviate false entries as shown below.
It is a User defined option.
You may say that the trader may miss out on several pips due to this "delay" however the probability that the trade is on the correct side far outweighs this possibility.
Thoughts?

My thoughts exactly, with a "buy" or "sell" signal between zones acting as a direction indicator.

I have, many vague moments. Which pairs will be dropped? Reverse signal (s) in order to prevent large DD and possibly gain. Personal settings for each pair with on and off levels updated every week, etc.
