About London fix/ settlement did you took the break of 16:05 16:15 and play the long break until 17:00 ?
this is my understanding of the fix/settlement trick

Hi Billytt.
Sorry I missed your last post addressed to me.
I have been playing about with breakouts for the last 18 months on forex pairs, commodities , indexes, oil.
I use them little red silvine cashbooks and make daily records.
Monday can be slow, but I put two green lines on the high and low from 12.00 am to 8.00 am
I then look for the nearest 50, or 00 sometimes it might be the next 50, or 00. eg. Mon 12th of march according to my little red book buy 1.2850 sell 1.2750. the price on the green lines are high 1.2822 and 1.2802 for the low. ( the low was already close to a round number so I went to the next one down )
I don't move the green lines from Mon, I put two magenta lines Tues Morn 12am to 8.00 eg. buy 1.2900 sell 128.00. high magenta line 1.2857 low 1.2829
I also write down red flag news eg Tue 11.30am GB. 12.30 am US and 14.15 cad
The magenta lines are moved every day from Tue until Fri 12.00am to 8.00 am.
I have also used the daily pivot from IG which seem to be fairly accurate ( when I subscribed to price action trading equation we used live charts .co.uk )
quite a lot of times when price breaks out of the Mon range it keeps going in the same direction, other times ( wed/Thu it heads back to the Mon range )
I only paper trade this at the moment because of work commitments.

Hi Billytt the above chart showing the fixed Mon line and the daily magenta floating line Thursday 15th buy 1.3000 / Sell 1.29000 because of the strong breakout above the high of the week it could have been traded from 1.2870ish, but as always easier said than done with hindsight.

You got the idea. Watch shorter time frames (15 min) from 15.30 on. Look for a retrace.

I'll post some live fix/ settlement trades next week.

Hi bud, that looks good, the 00-00 /08-00 bar is basically the Asian Session. I was originally looking at that then found the 04-00/08-00 4 hour bar had better stats.. The other info who posted looks promising.

Hi Billytt.
Sometimes currencies move well during the Asian session, and the gap between the high and low is large eg. GBP/USD Wednesday 14th March.
In the Asian session it moved 55 pips.
The 1 week average on Mataf.net is 85 pips.
My little red book is Buy 1.4000/ Sell 1.3000.
No trades triggered for that day.

Hi, prophet i am not. i am good at what i do as is Claudia and Lem....

i trade off a couple of simple breaks and it is following a failure which i excel at..

As for commercial, i have sold 2 variations of what i do ( and a couple of others) but not in FF. and i am more than happy to help others....

Sure i have been contacted but honestly i do not need anymore money, Some people who i have helped i ask to donate to charity etc.

Excluding my thread, i hang around here because it is sooooooo funny, better than any tv...
