Mind that your first example does not have symmetrical supply, trades like that should not be taken as chances for micro shelf buildup are slim to none over large amount of trades.

Yes. Symmetrical supply zones ensure that fuel zones of liquidity gets build above them (SLs and pending orders and more eyes watching same price level), its all about cascade effect on order flow trading, you want to have wind behind your back and the squeeze process should always be prefered process to be behind.
Effective price trading is all about catching a zone of symmetry where many opinions are exchanged (doesnt matter who thinks what or where price should go, the only important factor is that there is large zone of interest and liquidity and participation), and for that to be ensured zone has to be symmetrical, or the behaviour itself for that matter. Asymmetry leads to non-condensed opinions exchanged around same price levels therefore its unlikely to expect liquidation process to happen around there.

Conceptual example, if you take those two graphs to group of 100 traders, i can ensure you that in 90% cases the above will lead to much larger and more highlighted fuel zones built around the price. And thats where sharks go for hunting.
I will be posting videos and explanations in future on how does this look on Level 2 order flow and market depth to actually have a full proper backing of the words i am throwing out there, but want to take this thread step by step to not scare any particiapants away by complexity. Spoofed orders that are pulled away intentionally to slip the market trough important levels, heavy orders pushed right against the level to break them, non-shown orders absorbing where level 2 and order book dont match, short squeeze liquidation displayed on order book etc etc.... All at the right time.
