Morning all, t 07-49...

Cable moving up, i will be trading the 08-00 15 minute bar break.

At the moment i hope it is short range as i feel a bit dodgy about going Long. Lets see.

Dax..... 08-00 5 min bar break..

Low broke and it made approx 7/8... i did not trade it... just watching Cable.

Good morrow, all fair who sail in this (slightly bonkers) privateer!

Couldn't have asked for a simpler set-up than I faced this morning on The Monster. OK, there was no real help from S+D but really, on a Monday morning with a strong push in one direction pre-UK...it's coming back the other way folks...and that's what it did. WZ Short back into the body. +5% and a chunk-and-a-half more.

DAX 06:00 - 08:00 (WZ Short) +5% et al

Just had a quick look down at the m5 on the other charts and there was in fact some help from the S+D (sorry for doubting you, guys!).

If by any chance there was any doubt in your mind, then this would have blown it clean away.

It certainly would have made Billy's m5 bar variant a walk in the park.

If you're talking about movement, The DAX will always knock Cable into a cocked hat, especially at the off.

it started to retrace so i closed for 3% .. i cannot be bothered with it today lol.

unless it dramatically drops i will call it a day until tomorrow.

I've got a sell on Gbp/USD at 138.67. Looks like it might be going up so I'll pull out at 138.81 ish.
Also got a sell on oil at 61.68

Soon as I saw that doji, I was out of there, lol. I assume your break was way later, Billy, on the 08:45 candle? I make it a 4.6 break, not inc any spread. I also had a major Supply Zone above, so would never have gone long anyway. If I'd taken the drop back out of that, I'd have managed the +5 ok. Could have taken a couple of bites at it, if I'd been gallus.

Dropping to the M5 would have given an even better entry (lower line is the edge on the m15 zone)

Hi Kev. Can I ask what was your reasoning for taking the Oil trade? What tf did you take your analysis off of? I've got a reasonable Supply Zone on The Daily at 62.08 and I can see a play off that level but other than that?

There has been a classic DWZ entry but that would have triggered at 03:00 for me.

Anyway, I don't like trading Oil when the US is closed (my personal preference only), which is why I was interested in your reasoning.

Hi Lemcenaire.
It dropped below the moving average (21sma) 15 min time frame 2.30 am
The 4 hour chart is showing down (using trendline )
It was under 62.00 by 3.15 am (round number)
Hope this makes sense.
