Do you know Warren Miller Jen? He was a great ski film maker. He died this past year. I used to watch his films over and over for inspiration.

No, never heard of him. Have you skied this season yet? I'm off again later this month. I just got some 2018 K2's to go with my Head piste skis. I have some Scotts but I don't get on with them; the rocker were too big on those. I tested skis for K2 11 years ago (gulp!) when Missconducts first came out and in my opinion, for all mountain and freeride, K2's are unbeatable. Many skiers agree with me, so it's rather strange that the reviews you see do not really reflect how good they are. Could it be because K2's are American and most of the rest EU, I wonder? Another sneaky way the EU plays its protectionism.

Yeah I did check out that site, and it was fun to browse the many cars for sale, and yes did see a lot of AC Cobra's but no AC 50, or AC coupes, which is not surprising because they are extremely rare from what I understand. Only 50 or so have been made of each (although I could be wrong on the exact number. I did see one and I forgot what model it was in which only a 150 were made. Any way, cool stuff, love vintage cars!

For the most part I do agree with your position on this, and it sets a very bad president against free speech. Anyway, Great Britain took a major step in BREXIT, but if it is to gain back it's sovereign identity it is going to take a lot more than the stiff upper lip kind. More or less reintroduction of itself in a major way has to happen, and it starts by leveling a fair constitution with equal treatment for it's citizens. This is just plain nuts, and don't understand how British citizens tolerate this nonsense!

Anyway, I am not sure if you Brits are seeing similar cultural phenomena's such as what is happening in America, but I will post the link here because I do believe there are some similar distinctions, cultural Marxism, Identity politics, Tribalism etc.,etc. Its a good and stimulating read that get you thinking along many threads of thought.

Britain First are not racist. They are nationalistic and that is what the left conveniently twist into meaning racism. This is what they say on their website:

Britain First rejects racial hatred in all its forms.
British ethnic minorities regularly attend our events and activities.
Britain First opposes Islamic extremism and mass immigration because they are a danger to the British people.
Britons from all backgrounds are welcome to join our struggle to put British people first.

So what's the difference between what they are saying and what Trump is doing? Why are they "far right?" What is far right or racist about putting your country and its citizens first? Common sense now is just way off the scale. Mad world. Or rather we mustn't offend Islamic countries or their people in any way, shape or form. On that basis alone I would say that any discussion about "political" Christianity vs. Islam that doesn't include Judaism is meaningless. As we've seen, however, go down that road and people start having fainting fits.

I really don't care what they are and I am not condoning their harassment of people. What I am pointing out is the disparity. The court accepted the witness statement that they shouted "racist" abuse. Let's have some quotes then. Islam is not a race, "foreigner" is not a race. Let's be clear what "racist" is. Do you recall the march in Luton where *they* openly called for the killing of "non-believers" and that *they* don't accept UK law? Do you recall John McDonnell calling for insurrection? Let's see some parity in the law. Sending those two to jail was way over the top. Do you know that Tommy Robinson got sent to jail for "mortgage fraud?" Probably he told a couple of porkies on a self cert application. Big deal. No one cares so long as you pay your mortgage. Everyone expects lies on a self cert anyway.

Ok, let's have a list then of how we're meant to think. You know, I really can't keep up with all this emotionally driven claptrap.

Then they should lobby the Oxford English dictionary to change the meaning.

I found out recently that teachers no longer use red pens to mark kids' work and they don't use crosses to indicate something is wrong. They ignore it or put a (faint) dot there instead. They can't be hurting any feelings. I'm serious.

In the upcoming local elections in May, I cannot bring myself to vote Tory. Obviously I cannot vote for the other Communist parties and if there is no viable alternative, I will just spoil the ballot paper.
