Closed manually with just +10 pips. Looks to me, retracement from the 1.25 - 1.255 all over again.
Too many news in play, Trump's trade war, ECB, Draghi, Italian elections, NFP. Although all these things has given Euro an edge but recent economical data from the Europe is cooling or slowing down.

In my view euro trading area is 1.26 - 1.22 for the near future.

Hey T ,shut the news off you wont be caught off guard very often if you pay attention to the levels and the patterns ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now lets everybody say what may have caused it lol,,,just like the pundits on tv , The only thing that caused it was more buying than selling period ,,,,,,the reasons are 2ndary ,,,,,,,,,the chart gave a pattern with a tgt ,,,,it is a smaller pattern within a bigger pattern with tgts higher yet ,,,,,,,may not reach those but I will know when it starts failing

I don't understand the hate against the people who talk fundamentals. you can simply skip those posts or press 'ignore'
Why the frustration? Why the fuss? ...not enough room here?

There's no hate towards fundie traders, only you are missing the point. Fundie without TA doesn't exist! TA without fundie doesn't exist (unless you want 15p ranges for weeks). Saying that there is no TA involved in moves like we had today...means you gotta work harder!

I would as the EU would have dropped from the 50% level down rather than up to 61.8 the only reason I thought it would retrace to the next fib level was due to price still not being overbought.

The only news that effects price without major players being involved is when N.Korea decide to throw missles over japan, news like that triggers uncertain market moves.

Take a look at a bank institution trader Carol harmer shes traded for massive investment banks for over 30 years and does not even take any form of news event into consideration what so ever even Bank rates she trades based on pure TA and after a career of 30 years doing the same thing in and out well that's enough for me to not really pay to much attention to fundementals and base my strat more on TA.

But hey if things are working for you then it works for you aslong as you make pips who cares.

No hate man lol,but following the fundies is not the whole answer either why bother with our interpretation of the fundies,,, ours will be way different than institutions that spend millions trying to figure out how one thing affects another ,,,,,mkts are so interwoven even ones thats that their job have a hard time explaining or keeping up with it ,I know Im not gonna ,,,,,,but my charts will figure it out well enough for me to be profitable

1.2395 is nearest support now.. SL at least 5 to 10 pips below it.. I am letting my longs run..
