Lem to trade the dead zone, from what ive read, wait until 1pm on U/C at 1pm change to 5min chart and Then wait for the 5m bar to go higher or lower than the 1 hour bar ? is that correct ? cheers

At its most basic, yes.

You don't need to go to the m5 tf, price is price on any time-frame, it just gives more info if you're using micro S&D Zones for instance and price action heads-up. Go to the m1 if you want.

Anyway, you have the H1 candle from Noon to 13:00 UK time. High, Low, Open and Close marked. As well as mid-line for reference if you fancy it as well (50% retracement).

You can trade the break of the H or L, or you can run it as an WZ trade. I prefer to trade the moves back inside, whereas Mr-T prefers the vanilla break.

Speaking of UC, price is finding it difficult to break the 50-Fib...

SO, that's that negative cleared. Technically ended up +£264.40 (I don't let it run any farther, the idea is simply to clear the negative). All good.

Cos I am so focused on the vanilla I often forget the "Wick Zone" trade opportunities !

No, you're not wrong. The issue is how much of a block the Demand Zones immediately below will prove to be. On the lower time-frames, they show up as rows of smaller, thinner, zones and these do often blow through but not always.

There's been a steady progression downward and you could be forgiven for thinking there would be some form of Dead Cat Bounce first at those levels.

It's when you look way up at the Monthly, you can possibly get a better idea. Those rising lows certainly form a strong argument.

The outside influences at play are obviously the notoriously interfering Japanese Govt but you have to bear in mind that both currencies are tied to oil.
