Which broker are you guys using?
With a bricksize of 50 points (5 pips) and a spread of 100 points (10 pips) you would need 4 bricks just to break even for one round turn trade...

I think you will find that the spread is actually 1.

DAX +10+2+8+10 Easy peasy this PA. I missed whole up move with last long position, but traded these 4 trades with higher lots, so not offended me too much. {image}

Can you share the thought process around the +10 short and the +2 long? Both seem like 123 patterns but the entries are really close to the 2 point. It obviously worked both times. Are you entering just before the price returns to the 2 level so that if price breaks through, then your entry will be behind a support/resistance level?

I apologize in advance for rookie questions.

DAX +11+21+4+5+4+3+6+7

Late post, no energy for mark the clues, but be honestly this was one of the hardest trading days I ever traded. These pips cost me too much time for call it a success day, it's not worth of it. Trading is not about sitting 10-12 hours in front of laptop, at least it shouldn't be, because that's sick. I'd rather catch my 10 pips target with 1-2 trades and call it a day, if you put few lots into it, you can get same result and it's not going to make you an asocial computer guy.

Matomi,
When you trade big lots, how leveraged are you trading? Say those 10 pips you aim for what % of your equity represents?

How fast you cut a drawdown? Or what is your stop for your method?

I like your idea of quick trades heavy leverage, but the risk can be gigantic.

My leverage is fixed at Pepperstone UK 1:200 on all CFDs. I have never calculated it on %, I am just trying to make every week double account, but with market as yesterday and today it is science-fiction sometimes, so it takes me 2 weeks instead of 1. Not all my entries are loaded with huge lots, because I evaulate before entry how potential it has and how much risk is worth of it. But, if I trade 10 pips/daily, it is just about waiting nice setup and put big load into it for few minutes, often for few seconds. You have to know what you do, because even small DD can be fatal for your account. Your entries must be very early to ensure some space for fast SL on BE or jumping out with very small SL. My losses are usually 1 to 5 pips, but most of time I exit on BE, because it costs me nothing. The key to trading this way (what means be a scalper), is absolutely no room for hesitation, it is mechanic trading with strict psychological rules, then the risk is same as at any other kind of trading style or leverage and lots.

DAX +10 and end for today, it took me 1 and half hour of watching platform, acceptable.

DAX +1-3+5+3+8+2+3+4

I made couple more trades today just show how it looks when I put bigger load into my position, BE trades marked also. First trade was god damn mistake, I don't know what scared me, but it would give me my daily profit few seconds later after I closed it. However, I am fine now. Some trades are not marked, because the only reason why I entered were small GAPs on M1, today they were like magnet.

If you didn't understand, the idea here is share experience... so why you post an image with hide things?
I mean, if you have something good and don't wanna share, keep with you, not necessary to post.

Got it?

Here is the real chart. Internet connection is in the crapper we are having torrential rains and we are in the clouds so I can not risk trading.
I waited and waited for a sign last night it finally came at 9.00pm. I needed an entry at a significant level the Div + 2B at the BRN and the 38.2% Retr was pretty good even so I did not switch off until I had got to BE which I did quickly because my dinner was on the table. Targets were obvious took 2 off at the first BRN and left the runner with the TP down at a major S&R level, when I opened up this morning all 3 TPs hit, doesn't always happen like that but as long as you are at BE before shutting down, you don't lose.
