no because no 2 people trade exactly even on same system.In greater scheme of things retail traders are drop in the ocean collectively.Forces that move price are far far more resourceful and powerful.
We only provide liquidity to fill their orders hence why spikes occur.

The advices given by Davit in the past few days have been quite effective
to make me begin change my mind "slowly but surely"

-Over the weekend i realised that getting to know only a few currencies only, is much better than the so called 30 pairs Post 15,528
-Also using the pairs with less margin is something wise to do of course Post 15,065
-Aud and Cad pairs seem to be Davit's favo cup of tea Post 15,069 and looking back at the journal of my trades
i saw i didn't do that bad on those pairs too_
-Last and not least the "Swing Factor" and calculating how much a swing is worth, do the math and act accordingly has been a great help Post 15,492

Results is i have reduced from many pairs to a few based on some parameters i like the most...
Still of course tempted to look at the pairs i have excluded, (Fear of Missing Out_M.Douglas) and again realising that the psychological side of the trading
is the one i need to put more effort on_

Fed Chair Powell Testifies tomorrow.This could shake things up.I seriously think March hike is real possibility and I am sure they will drill this to him

Hi Davit,

I must commend you on your system/thread. I love the fact that you don't take shit from anyone, especially those morons that want to modify your strategy by adding and introducing a bunch of nonsense indicators. This is probably one of a handful of strategies on FF that hasn't changed since the first post.
It took me about 5 days to read through the whole thread.
Since last week i have opened 12 trades, (one position per trade)
2 trades currently open,
3 small losers
7 winners
For a total gain of about 5%. Im extremely happy with my first week results! Looking forward to many more green weeks!!

Thank you Davit for sharing this wonderful system, I look forward to interacting with you and all members of this group.

Me too. I just found this thread also, glad you are getting into it. I'm reviewing it too, I don't have mt4 yet but I think I'll get it soon. I'm keeping an eye on weekly pivot for the first time, so it's definitely giving me additional insight. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Don't know if any if you watch for missed central pivots, but there's a weekly pivot from the week of 2/11 on G/J at 151.635 sitting there as a pretty target now that price is coming up off of a low.

Thanks for your contribution.I don't trade GJ and I don't trade missed pivots. I did read the links and Not what I do.I prefer not seating on trade for 2months just to hit 75% chance of hitting missed pivot.Not even touching fees on swap which can pile up fast eating any chance of profits.

  1. 5% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 5.4 days.
  2. 25% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 8.6 days.
  3. 50% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 17.3 days.
  4. 75% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 52.5 days.
  5. 95% of the time a missed pivot is hit in under 493.5 days.
  6. The least number of days required to hit a missed pivot is 0.041 days.
  7. The largest number of days required to hit a missed pivot is 3099 days.

I rarely go after weeklies, but that one is relatively close and just a target I'll keep an eye on. I go after Daily missed pivots regularly, though. Very good payoffs especially with OTM options.

I think in my view if you trade my system you will most likely hit not only missed pivots but also regular pivots increasing your chance.There is no reason to limit yourself to specific pivot type.

yeah, I"ve been trading pivots for close to 20 yrs. Know them extremely well. Just thought I'd add a little different perspective.
