If we close above 1.2320 today I would wait before short but that’s my personal opinion but then again if we test 1.25 -1.255 we might break out to 1.267(monthly downtrend line) and go a little higher before we retest lower. Good luck

oh yes.. I work with volume a lot. My rule would be this if in "flag" area is higher volume than in start "leg" then it will not continue, if volume in flag is lower then on start, then it will continue the trend. So in this case it should be bullish sign actually haha. /but its also end of the day so this congestion can be just normal../ . just my opinion..

I truly feel with today’s reversal the EUR/USD will at least drift higher into 1.2390 into tomorrow’s close 1.2420 if shorts get squeezed, I see dollar longs take profit and square positions for the weekend, if we break 1.2280 and violently break 1.22 then I believe top might hav3 been put in but I have a feeling we will test 1.2390 by tomorrow

Oh! that red flag beside my nickname here at FF doesn't mean I have a high probability that I am right ; )- I set to risk-on initially as price was able to reached the POCs above. However, I''ll move to positive SL once gained enough pips.

Cheers v2vboni as matkooooo has point out the flag has falling volume in each bar of the flag,
indicating bearish bias,

so although there are different points being pointed out here they are coming up with the same results,

and that is,

"THERE'S A BEAR IN THERE"

Bet ASIA takes it up. Very bullish that US closed above 1.2300, then next daily bar opened above 1.2300.

ASIA session needs to keep above 1.2280 prior to midnight EST for the BULL to stay. Looks bull to me though.

My pitchfork certainly looks bullish, just need another 10 pips upside to confirm.

Hey folks me here again!

Outlook for the EU
Price is in a uptrend using a Top down analysis we can see price is still making HH HL monthly is Bullish Weekly is consolidated (break stage after a rally rally/break/rally/break etc) 4 hour is starting to turn bullish again. I'm looking to Buy.

4 Hour chart below we can see how price pretty much bounced off the 38.2% Daily fib which also has confluence with the 50% fib on 4 hour time frame.
We also have a potential triangle forming denoted by the blue lines, I'm looking for a breakout of this triangle. Targets around the 1.27 Area.

Price is now at 38.2% fib 4 hour look how it holds as support, notice we are in a previous area of interest denoted by the grey box.

However take note there is strong projected major resistance at 1.2630 area.

Weekly chart is the most Bearish on EU. We are over 650 pips above 200 SMA. MACD is also turning out Bearish. Also it looks extremely overbought on monthly chart. Can't last forever. Without visiting 1.22 and probably 1.20 this baby won't go anywhere. Although, fake rally to 1.2460 is possible (but never guaranteed) in the short term. Most likley spike to 1.236x-7x zone before selling.
Stay cautious.

You were a week early with your dead cat bounce last week ,well it just went higher than you anticipated ,, I wouldnt be suprised to see below 1.22 before week closes

Last week I anticipated EU to 1.2585, so it reached 30 pips below in fact. I missed it. But I caught my shorts on other occasions. I suggested to someone to unload a dead cat based on short term before Friday close. It went slightly higher, then plummeting down.

Im still long EUR/USD at 1.23198 from 11:31 pm EST and I’m holding looking to sell 40% position at 1,2354, 30% 1.2364, 15% 1.2372 and 15% 1.2389 if I sense melt up into the weekend close. My stop has been moved to 1.23034
