it seems if it does repaint...price fluctuates up and down you could get out break even or small loss or small win. ive noticed on the higher timeframes if

you let the candle finish printing the signal is a high probability trade. even if you get in on the second histogram price is usually very close to the first

histogram bar. i get out on candle price action reversals or if it does not print consecutive same color bars anymore.(turns white)

if you look at this price goes against you 53 pips but you wind up with a 44 pip profit on exit. you have to have a higher pip loss amount for this strategy to

be very accurate. notice how the histogram goes up but doesnt turn white and then goes back down.

currendt aud/jpy trade up almost 30 pips. i got in on the second histogram bar because it was very close to entry histogram bar

heres an example of a trade that goes up and down and you are out of profit for awhile. once price nears my entry i would try to get out of that break even

or with a small loss or small win.

Hi: Interesting indicator. Thanks for posting. Could you please post a screen shot of your settings, both inputs and colors? I have a black background and do not see the vertical lines that are on your charts. I guess they are divergence lines. Thanks again for posting this indicator. Dave.

heres my colors for the chart.....for the indicator once u load it just right click it or open it from the start and change the histogram color to blue

just so you know those vertical lines don't show in the indicator...i put those to show entries/exits

Hi: Thanks. The input box has a spot for "draw divergence line" so I thought those might be them. I am unclear about the second half of the input box but havnt had time to play. This does look like it has potential and I am using it along with the Saduky indicator and a moving average that repaints so much that most people would cry. I am also looking at one, fifteen, and thirty minute charts. So far the potential looks good. Will see how well it goes over the next few days. Thanks again for your postings. Dave

No problem. i just leave all the settings to default and just changed the color to blue. seems to work perfect with default settings.

That's why exiting on price action reversals and trying to trade with the trend keeps it profitable

I will keep playing with a few other ideas and post if I find anything. As far as the indicator repainting, when backtesting visually it looks like only the 2 previous bars repaint.
