In my personal experience I have already burned a small account while holding for swaps on eurtry. I have seen many other traders happen the same. You have to be extremely carefull when placing trades only at the highest levels and still. At the same time I have seen a few traders who are scalping those exotics in the trend direction and making more money instead of waiting for months. Cheers

Depending on the instruments you are trading the swap costs can be very extensive. So, longterm traders defintelly should take them under consideration when building strategy.

when holding for swaps you need a large account and yes i agree scalping makes money if you realy look at the demo trades you can see what i have done holding and scalping

Few brokers...and few pairs are horrible.
Who wants to pay 1 to 6 pips for holding damn cr.p.???

PS i found better broker

And going into intraday. Too much noise on higher frames.
Beware of robber banks (RB), bad advisors.

USD/TRY ....Not sure when this is going to stop going up....Reaching for the stars !!!!
Clearly when looking at swap fees one needs to check which broker gives best swap fees and as you know the fees vary from broker to broker ..E.G.. GlobalPrime are extremely mean and no value.Fortunately I have other brokers which are good,particularly Thursdays..I do love the colour of green..
Yesterday..Global Prime..2%
Pepperstone..5.3%
Please note these numbers are on my risk not account balance
I am sure all would be happy to receive 1% Day.
This style is not for new chums and do need a decent bank to make it work....Just my humble opinion.
