trading to benefit from swaps

Is there anyone out there who has a strategy (or played with one before) that holds positions to mainly benefit from receiving the swaps credits?
This would obviously be a long term startegy (1 month hold min).

I understad how swaps work, I'm just looking for experienced stories.

This has been discussed many times. You can do a quick search on carry trades.

Long term probably has you holding something like the GBP/JPY, or GBP/CHF during a well defined uptrend.
