Hello i lost some 4.2k$ in 1 week from last 9 months i am working daily 20 hours a day on please i need some help i need to recover my money please slowly but surely can some one please help me and give me some system from which i can earn consistent earning just few pips per day and then closed trading and then read and practice on demo please some one help me i am so much worry Thanks

I have been there. I know your pain.

I cant help you with any system but my advise is stop trading with real money.

Protect what you have left.

Dont think about winning it back. IF you want to win it back because of this loss you will lose the rest.

Only about 0.1 percent win at this game long term,this is the UK broker stats. So its a very hard game to beat. Your better setting up a business maybe on amazon.

You need to stop trading with real money RIGHT NOW...

The chance that you will get scammed by scumbags trying to recover your money is very high and you would only lose more money.

No one will give you an winning system, I'm sorry. And even if someone would, you would still need to study and practice it for months if not years.

from last 3 years i tried every thing amazon ranking products , google adsence , youtube , social media advertising etc etc now from last 9 months doing trading full time i won 900$ on 1 week but lost 4.2k$ on next week want to learn

Sorry for your loss and pain you feel
You can recover with any system for sure but Stop trading for a while and get your soul together
and search for your strategy that u will feel good with and make small goals to achieve bit by bit
make a daily goal like 50$ and get out of the market for the rest of the day
that will learn you to choose your trade with care Do that for about month or more
Then you will found yourself able to contain any loss and have enough satisfaction about your small profit
by time you will recover the whole account.

at the point where you are now if all you say is true about your loss,the only sollution for you is not get into an endless loop of loss,you must stop trading stop pump money into broker account.looking back at your fresh loss and only thinking at that nothing will help you to recover.if you continue now you may only fall deep.
honestly i dont think there's a sistem for situation like this to get you out of loss and recover ,imagine then how many rich traders will be around the world.
i think you need to make peace with your loss ,never start again trade thinking ''i must recover'' ,always start trading calm looking forward and learn some serious money management before to give free money to brokers.
make rules - follow the rules - never break the rules.
If this is a trick thinking there's some holy grail around and some angel of forex will give you that holy grail... then you need to wake up and stop dreaming,forex is not for dreamers cos here dreams are short and nightmares can last longer then you may think.

Few observations:

9 months demo trading worth as much as 1 week live trading...as per your result. Was the losing trades taken and managed as per the demo practice rules? If so, why the big loss this time?

If 4200$ loss means your whole ( or most part) of your account, you most certainly trade too big sizes, and take unnecessary large swings.

20 hours a day?!? WTF!! Why?! GET SOME SLEEP!! Trade only when you mentally and physically sound, and that isn't when you sleep mere 4 hours...

Hard working is great, but without combining with smart working, it is just menial labour, nothing else.

Without the expectations sorted out first, both on profits and even more importantly on losses, there will be lots of surprises. Mostly negative. Just the nature of things.

This "recover the loss" attitude is what makes you lose more and more, to the point of losing the best thing you may have: sanity. I mean WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? asking for the grail ?

see your loss as a drawdown. simple logic, with an edge ANY drawdown can be recovered.

The idea of losing opportunities is also detrimental. it takes TIME, so get a job you lazy a**.

When I make a wining trade, I don't trade the following day, when I make a losing trade, I don't trade the next day. What I learn is that our mind loose objectivity when troubled by euphoria or revenge. Instead of trying to win the max amount, it is better to trying to find the best possible entry on the market... and of course money management is mandatory....

Sorry for the lost. It's not a number of months or years you practice, but strategy. Stop trading and get back to backtesting strategy

I think deep down you know what you're doing wrong. That's why you lost 4.2k in a week. You practiced making a lot of money, but did you practice losing very little of it?

Hi, as others have said: Start a diary and write what you did wrong that made you lose that money. Did you follow your strategy that you practiced for 9 months?
Did you apply Risk management to your trading by knowing how much you can lose on a single trade?
If you write in your diary that you risked too much, then you must go back to study and learn these fundamental account preservation principles.
The goal in forex is to keep. Also, drop the "Win Back" mentality, this will cause you to lose everything as you will be chasing trades where there is no trades.

Check out the KISS strategy on this forum. The gentleman uses a long timeframe trades and trend lines. So search for: KISS and you should find it. Keep up the hard work friend and remember that forex is not a "get rich quick game". Steady gains will grow, but do not think to chase gains. Look for good trade based on your strategy/ system and if there is no trade, then Do not trade. I made mistakes too, trade in news and hold 3 lose trades too far and risked too much. I guess this is common for traders and those that can understand their mistakes will succeed.

Hey there,

This is actually my first post on this forum but I've been trading for about 4 years now. My advice is to you is to stop trading for a week or so. Take a step back and reflect on what you did. Someone earlier in the thread stated to make daily goals of making 50$ a day.. Don't do that. You need to find a system that works for you and fits your style. Profitable consistent traders do not trade every day... I'm not sure how much knowledge you have on price action (support, resistance, trend lines etc) but I suggest you delete ALL indicators if you're using any. Learn how to read the market. I suggest you start at www.babypips.com.

The next thing is you need to develop a risk management system. Clearly, you have 0 clue what risk management is because if you did, you wouldn't have lost 4k. I suggest you risk 1%-2% per trade even if 1% is 20$. Trust me I have been in your shoes. It sucks. Losing money is not a good feeling. But what you have to realize is you don't become a successful FX trader overnight. It takes years of grinding it out. If this is your passion then don't quit. Trust me It took me a lot of loses and lot of heartache to get to where I am today.

Hi samekhanok,
From what you are saying it does look as if you are desperate to make money and are viewing trading as your preferred route to doing this, but you haven't really taken the trouble to work out how to trade properly to achieve this. If you carry on like that you will lose all your risk capital, guaranteed.

When you are in a hole (in your case a 4.2k$ hole, it appears) the first thing to do is stop digging. Stop trading. Right now. This is the biggest favour you will do for yourself.

Now, accept the money you have lost is gone forever. Think of it as a tuition fee, now you have some real idea how harsh the markets can be to the people who stray into it without any proper idea of what they are doing. That includes you right now, understand that very clearly. If you stay desperate to win it back you will fall into another huge hole, that of revenge trading. And that won't take you anywhere good either.

Accept you need to go back to square one and start over. You do not know how to trade, that is the cold reality. You must decide you are going to take the trouble and time to learn properly or give up and try something else. Don't play at trading, there are too many higher skilled traders out there very happy to take money from the likes of you.

Sorry to be so harsh but you are going to lose whatever you have left very quickly unless you change your ways. Go back to trading school and learn properly. Trade a demo account until you really know you know what you are doing. Only then risk some real money and, even then, keep it small until you prove you can make consistent, risk controlled, profits.

It is true this is the world of trading....it is dangerous ......but so is crossing the road that has cars on it.
You take precautions to insure no cars hit you...so what can you do
It looks to me that you either have your SL set too high, or you have too many trading running at the same time or both

I also run strategies on demo, work out the best time frame etc etc.
Then I have an EA built for that strategy and have it run on a demo account. ..... now when the demo account over say a 4 week period on average wins more than it loses...then you guessed it then and only then do you start to use real money.

The market can change from day to day week to week, so if you only test for a few days you will not "see" if the strategy works over the long run.

A lot of strategies out there have very high values for TP and SL, I take the logic that if my strategy/EA has been tested enough then I only need to have a small SL like 30 pips and a small TP like 30 pips, and use a trailing stop...and know that you will NOT win all the trades, but you need to have enough money to come back and play the next day.

The rules I trade with:
Never trade on a Monday or Friday
Never trade the first two and last two trading days of a month
Always use a EA that has the TP, SL and trailing SL set
Always know you will never will them all
Never ever sit and watch your trades...this will send you mad
