Thanks for describing what statistics are important to look for in a TE. About maximal drawdown, where do I find this? The only one I see is Max Return Drawdown.

Amazing repertoire of checklist for the fund manager. I've resolved to delegate my funds to a more mechanical approach to growing my wealth as I lack the instinct to trigger trades. This is a good summary to have when selecting my generals.

Sorry, I somehow missed your post (I don't bookmark threads) and I'm not sure if you're still around. Apparently your TE no longer exists. Anyway it sounds like you were doing very well. I'm a big believer in FA; IMHO many folk who malign it don't know what to look for or how to use it effectively. Human nature is inherently lazy and it requires little effort to slap a couple of technical indicators on a chart.

The help bubble on the TE describes 'Max Return Drawdown' as "the biggest peak to trough loss in Equity experienced on the brokerage account". It is expressed as a percentage. Hence it sounds like this is the same thing.

is there any way to add more than 8 systems on TE (on a single account)?

im even willing to pay to add more systems. i prefer TE over myfxbook and FXBlue. also, are there any other sites you guys use to track your own trading systems?
