BTW Gold coast is one of my favourite places- I've surfed Snapper Rocks and a few of the other points quite a few times.

But if you look at the clock in the screenshot, it looks as though the session time has passed but the Dash has not started the session. It looks like the dash has hung.

Z. Can you open the EA properties, click [Reset], then click [ OK ]. The dash should then be all defaults and you should see the indicators constantly updating.

Yes I did that, and the whole dashboard loaded up. I pressed [L] on AUDCAD and it opened the trade

Ah, OK. Still strange that the PIN had not signalled.

Z, when you load my setfile, you will need to adjust the session times to match your local time (I am GMT+0). I suggest session start is LO + 1 min, to ensure the PIN has refreshed before the dash takes the trades.

See Post 100 for your adjusted local times or below.
Because you will be near midnight local time for the full London session you will need to has two EAX session times.
The first up to midnight Local Time then the second for the after midnight session to London close.
I have assumed you are in Auckland time zone and this will change for Daylight savings times.

haha ... surfed there many times myself, since you are not a local ... it is not called Snapper Rocks without a good reason ... one of the most popular places for white pointers on the coast, lots of food at the mouth of the Tweed River

Another bad day merdaaaaa.

Initially started off well and it had a max of +210, but closed the day on -284. This weeks total is now -530 pips, ouch.
Truth is like poetry. And most people f*cking hate poetry.

Hi jagzuk, loaded the setfile and adjusted my session times to match my local time. However when I manually pushed [L] on AUDCAD, again nothing happened. Not sure why.

Hi and thanks everyone for trying to help me set up the EAX and the PIN.

The dashboard is now running perfectly, and hopefully the PIN will execute at London Open.

Just a question regarding the PIN. Is there a way to test to see if it is working before London Open?



BTW, this is how I have set up the PIN. I have loaded the jazFX_EAX_10_BAR_v1_02 indicator on to the chart running the EAX. I then have selected the PIN number (number 5) and my broker time 10 (which is London Open for me)

If anyone can see if I have done something wrong, please let me know.....thanks!


And finally, I don't know if it is possible, but I wonder if the jazFX_EAX_10_BAR_v1_02 PIN could also have a histogram of all the currency pairs and their expected and actual numbers. Then we could see the numbers and perhaps filter trades manually??

Results of yesterday's trades. Started out real well, however ended the day down. As I said before, I have found mechanical systems tend to work better on days that don't have lots of news or market 'surprises'. I am testing this strategy to run until end of trading day, however if I were live trading, of course I would have some sought of Basket SL.

EURGBP -26 pips
EURJPY 27 pips
EURCAD -4 pips
GBPAUD -81 pips
GBPNZD -80 pips
AUDJPY 2 pips
NZDJPY 5 pips
NZDCAD -12 pips

TOTAL -169 pips

So unfortunately the PIN did not activate...so I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

So manually worked out today's trades

Filtered out:

So interestingly we almost have the same pairs except for NZDCAD sell. All others are correct.

One of the main differences with using the dash is that there is no human intervention, like we cant filter out any trades the way you do, but so far so good.
