Have just completed this trade for today. Momentum on the short term strengthening to the downside, retracement just hit into the area of resistance and although a shallow correction I was willing to take the trade giving it enough room to breathe. Started to trail just above the small corrections then more aggressively as price had gotten near the 1:1 (price has just hit this now but still happy with how it was managed), got taken out for +33 on the second correction.
Also just FYI following my successful trade of +74 yesterday I had another trade of -23 which I have lost my image of so kept a positive +51 on the day.
That's me out for the day.

Okay...This one is bugging me. This was a loser earlier today (-33) and if I had avoided this entry there really wasn't a good rotation to get back in until the structure was already broken making a sell entry invalid. In hindsight I think the retracement move is too strong to take entry on a single rotation candle, even one this big. If I had waited I wouldn't have found another entry to the downside and saved some money. Regardless of the outcome was this a valid entry or too aggressive given the strong initial retracement to the upside? Thanks!...
Bulls were weakening around that area, wicks getting bigger with a pretty weak NSL, you maybe could of waited for a little deeper retracement, but FYI I would of joined the bears on this one as well.

Up 1,6% for the day. Got a nice EU trade earlier today and got stopped out of UC.

It's a work in progress trying to figure out what is essential and what is unessential in evaluating trades. I'm guessing the lessons never stop coming.
Gave back more of a big win today than I cared to but at the end of the day I chalked it up to tuition payments at the Mr Pip College of Trading Knowledge.

GBPUSD long
not really taking off yet
Although we're in the golden zone of the longer term, expectation short term is still NSH.
Bears seem to be pushing into the blue support zone.
I always wonder in cases like this how I should 'read' this:
A) bears keep on pushing into support zone --> watch out, bears are strong!
or
B) bears keep on pushing into support zone --> but they can't get through it after several attempts --> bulls are strong, everything is OK!
or
C) something else
How do you guys interpret it?
