Hi friend,
the better entry was 6 candles earlier.
USD was just 1 tick above the negative trigger line, good enough to check chart without to have alert. Price just left higher TF demand zone after a test and ACS28 showed a dGAP. Remember the first year we started with this strategy we did not have any alerts.
Continue with your practice then confidence will come with the time.

hi, All

just came across Bernhard indicators. bought S&D indicator. checking it out now.
see if i can use it to catch a few trades in the evening( after london close).

NYO trades on demo: 15 mins chart with HTF 1 H (#1 and 2)

1. Loss buy GJ -26 pips: probably late on entry. Do you find what other mistake I made?
2. Win buy EU +46 pips: Eur shot up after red speech event and USD went down. Waited for 15 mins candle to close before taking the trade. May be I should have moved to 5m as volatility was high following red event. Could gain more pips.
3. Win buy NZDCHF reversal on 5m candle +~30 pips: took the trade following the pin bar as both of them were in extremes and CHF showed hook. (nvmd the sell trade, it went in error)

Questions:
1. When there is no nearby target using support or resistance, how do you set TP? EU and GJ none had any resistance nearby and both were flying high.
2. When you see the direction in higher timeframe, do you see recent direction (GBP coming down slowly) or their absolute position (the fact that GBP is higher than JPY)?

supply bigger timeframe h4 and daily if i see correctly.

Nice trades dewdrops! On the GBPJPY, im showing MTF/HTF OLD supply zone where your entry was, according to Bernhards supply and demand indicator.. This could have been an issue for the trade.

If there is no clear TP level, i just trail my stop loss and let the trade ride. Not sure about your second question..

Slow start this morning but then opportunities started showing up.. Another late entry here but still 30 pips on GPBAUD.

iGAP is challenging for me, losing most of them. May be it's just me.

Did you trade impulse cross here for those 2 trades? I see you didn't wait for impulse trigger and at the time of trade taken, there was no hook on ACS28.

Yea it seems they can be more difficult as you could get faked out. I didn't wait for the impulse trigger (23FIB), but I did see the impulse lines begin to cross and I saw CS28 begin hooking on 5M charts so I decided to go for it, this can be dangerous and I'll probably wait for a clearer sign once I begin trading a live account.

If you would have played it safe and waited for the close of the 15 minute signal candle it would have still been a great trade with 40-50 pip potential, i got out way early. Also, in the case of NZDUSD, it respected an old demand zone, so this can help when making a decision to enter on the reversal/iGap.

Here are more hints for the trade.
Price did hit higher TF demand zone inner line which supported the reversal.
CS oGAP-strength weakened at extreme level, thats why ACS28 draws the stopper x.
You might also check C-Volume if it was high.

I decided this week 1/29/18 - 2/2/18 to set a goal of 20 pips per day/100 pips for the week. I ended the week exceeding the goal with 125 pips for the week and was able to find a trade every London session, it is starting to get easier to grab 20 pips, and in almost every trade i could have grabbed more. I did lose a few trades and cut the loss early, i only lost because i was impatient and didn't follow my trading rules. I will set the same goal next week for some more practice before going live.

Here is my last trade this week. As I entered i experienced 10 pips in drawdown because of a bad entry and almost cut losses but stayed in for 20 pips profit.

I like that goal of yours Joe. Then you can build on it week by week. I don't feel real confident with iGap either but I got this one yesterday on the GN for 66 pips. I think there are trades all over the place, it is just getting them at the right time. Even if you are a bit late it usually works out.

Very nice trade Jeff! I think I will only trade iGap is if it's bouncing off a demand or supply zone like in your trade, and we have opposite impulse on each currency, should be safe to jump in following both of those rules. If price is in the middle of no where I wouldn't feel as confident, but it all comes with experience. And yes, i agree, this system opens up many trading opportunities!

Hi
Just wanted to share my results using the 3 indicators from Bernhard and tips as I am a newbie to forex. I have been trading for 6 months and lost a HUGE amount of money...never seemed to be catching the trend and always found myself on the other side...meaning I bought and the market went down and vice versa...Making $50 per day seemed an IMPOSSIBLE task.

Please see the attached files and you can see that I am very excited as have had good results using the indicators.

Following are the results for 3 days from my fxblue account

Following is the total for 3 days using the CS28 indicators

3 day performance is more than the result as some trades were done using a different magic number

So in 3 days I have managed to NET $1060 using the cs28 indicators. This is my REAL account.

Tips:
Always use a demo account till you can see clear patterns. My biggest issue is EXIT. So I would first work on entry and I decided to only use the iGap.
Then biggest issue was when to get out...I did not use a stop loss (DEMO ACCOUNT ONLY) and no take profit as well. This way it did not matter to me if I made any money or not..just watched how pairs react...in the demo account lost money using the outward gap....I now only trade outward gap if it has a very strong hook or I dont trade at all. I will start when I become comofrtable.
MOST IMPORTANT
Money management..I never understood that till I lost a lot of money. Do small lots and DON'T PANIC. if you do small lots and then the market retraces for 20-25 pips..you will still be in the game.
Another point that I cannot emphasize enough the that you DONOT have to trade every setup. If I get a notification to buy or sell...I dont jump on it and check all timeframes so see....only trade when you have done your homework...that is only possible if you spend time on a demo account so that you mind is free from fear and does not panic when trades go bad...do analyse why the trade went BAD and also when it went in your favor.

In the screenshot you will see that I over trade...this is not good..over the past months I have this fear that every trade I will do will result in a loss so became a scalper by nature. 5 pips here and there and I am good.
For the first time my pips went up...as saw clear trends.

TAKE YOUR TIME...My plan is to do 5-10 trades a day and then wait for another day.
