Hi Bernhard, just wondering why you did not take the EU/AU trade because the Euro number on the first screenshot was 606 and the CHF 20. Was it because the EU was nearly above 100 fib.

Yes, also a possible trade. You can not trade all possible setups. Depends of open position size, respect your risk management.

Demo:

These were the winners on 12th Jan right before London open. Entered those positions, went to bed and got the results in the morning.

I need to practice reversal trades a lot, took few and they went wrong way. May be I didn't understand that completely. May be I should use 1m instead of 5m after news trade reversals.

Nice trades, I have seen that move but couldn't take that as it violated this rule:

"4. Do not trade outside GAP if a currency is over or under Market Fib 100/-100 but wait instead for a flip and trade the pullback with inside GAP."

At that point on that small inside candle, USD was at -131 fib. Are there exceptions to this rule?

Good question.
You marked the numbers in the data window. Those values are not MFibs. You courser should be one candle before. That was the entry.
In your example USD is just at MFib -100 but with a strong angle. Also last high was broken. Then check a higher TF and the room to the next supply zone that might give you pips to go. You need to see the whole picture.

Hi Dewdrops, thanks for the followup. I have to admit I don't always check all the rules, but it looked good to me so took it. I am sure you've noticed that price keeps going even way above/below 200 when the market is strong, not that I am recommending you do that. Still learning after a couple of months but feeling very confident with this strategy. Like those recent trades of yours.

Patience is required if price retest the entry but the trend is with you. Market Makers try to hunt the stops to fill more longs. If you trail break even too early you will be there victim.

Always check red news. You are lucky your SL was not slipped until the close of the red candle.
This is the time when market makers get active and hunting stops.
Consider to close trades before those news.

Something else we see. The price hit the demand zone at the pip (88.301) and reversed.

The reversal trade from outer MFib 161/-161 is well done.

Bernhard, Do you get alerts on MT4 pop-up or email notification and get on the PC to take the trades? Or do you sit in front of the PC during LO or NYO to find good setup?

More practice trade on demo:

Buy CJ on 5 min. JPY was on 161 fib and CAD coming out of -161 fib. Couldn't find good entry on 5m but when I switched to 15m, it showed bullish pinbar reversal 2 candles back and I pulled the trigger.

Starting to get a little more confident with the system, still need a lot more practice.

Here is a trade from LO Monday morning. I waited for the impulse signal, before the signal there was 20 pips for the taking but I didn't feel confident buying in at that point even though the CS angles looked good.

If you set the sensitivity to medium, would that trigger the trade a bit earlier?
