one possibility for this morning is the news events at 8:30 ET will shake out the bottom of this range, look like short patterns, then fail to go lower, and provide a long entry back to prior trend. I'll be looking for that over the next 30 mins or so

Whichever way it goes..There will be a lot of traders 'claiming' they were on the right side of it in about 30 mins..Until then the silence will be deafening

this is only a guess on my part, hourly support at (a) and current 5m bar at (b) news release may potentially form (d) then a complex shake out with my entry at (c)

you never know what the PA will be. I would expect to drop, but as far as i can see, it goes up despite all the concernings draghi is spitting out.
that is why i rather be on the side for now, until il settles down and pick up a direction.

Powder dry until the next one (Final one for me if not stopped out on basket drawdown reaching 6% before then...which at the rate this gravity defying currency is going may not be to long).

I'm so not used to trends and I don't think I've ever seen follow thru like this, there was whipsaw on the one min, but then it took off in a straight line. This doesn't happen often. Is that an understatement?

I use the COT and historical S&R lines, and it seems like the rally has no chance of stopping anytime soon

up without first shaking out, at least I got the up part right, but no entry for me since I didn't have a plan for what actually happened. I need to think about that for the future.

At this point it's holding up better than I would have thought also, ok, here's one possiblity for a plan, since UJ only now beginning to respond lower, I can look for a pull back and expect more upside on it, but I'm not taking this little pause here since that's a breakout.

This uptrend is blowing accounts. Uptrend continues. 1.255xx. Since the year started i've been reading the attempted shorting of this pair for a major drop!!
