I am looking for an EA that will check all open trades and attach an opposite trade (hedge trade) at X pips (from the opened trade entry price). For example, EA sees a buy trade opened for say gbpusd at Y price, EA will then open a pending sell order for gbpusd at X pips from A price. The possibility to add a TP and SL to the opposite trade ('hedge' trade) if required will be useful as well. Many thanks

I'd want this EA, it's name is "Pippone". It works contrarian when Value Chart Nice V1.0 touches the level.

Indicators
A Value Chart Nice V1.0 = 30 (default period)
B ATR = 1 (default period)
___________________

Filter
1 candle length indicator = 25 (default points)
2 distance of successive levels = 5 (default points)
___________________

Levels
C level main trade (short) = +30
D level main trade (long) = -30
E successive levels: the computer will calculate the levels by adding/subtracting the parameter 2 to C/D (ex. 35, 40, 45, or -35, -40, -45, etc...).

Entry
Short: when A => C (only if 1 is respected) valid only if the value preceding the entry of A < C.
Example: +27, +28, +29 and then touch C (A comes from below).
-Long: when A =< D (only if 1 is respected) valid only if the value preceding the entry of A > D.
Example: -27, -28, -29 and then touch D (A comes from above).

* if, when A touches C/D, 1 it is not respected then the control will be executed again at the next level.
Example: If the next level is 35 but A makes it's maximum at 34 then there will be no trade. Maximum one trade open on the same cross and time frame therefore we could have more trades open contextually on EURUSD M15, EURUSD H1 and GBPUSD H4 but NO two trades open on AUDJPY H1 ok??! The entry is valid only if we are flat on the cross /time frames.

Re-entry
Trade that enters on the market when the main trade goes to loss but only and exclusively if it happens on the same candle otherwise there is not Re-entry!!! Targets are always calculated with ATR as for the main trade but with its own multiples.

At Stop loss, Take profit, Equal stop or trailing stop

Targets
- Stop loss = ATR for its multiplier
- Take profit = ATR for its multiplier
- Equal stop = to x% of the target
- Trailing stop = to x% of the target

Risk money Re-entry = 1 (default) if 1 means that risks the same amount of money lost in the main trade, if 2 means that it risks double, 3 the triple, etc...

Hi all helpful coders

I would love to have an EA or indicator coded for visual back testing on mt4, nothing fancy, just simple parameters. It's something i've been working on to be used for binary options.

It's a trend following strategy. The EA/indi has to be based on Awesome Oscillator and MACD.

Basically, it's a 2 and 3candle move. All i want the EA/indi to do is either place arrows or lines through the next candle in the same direction as the color of the AO/MACD histogram and be able to do the opposite as well

So on the close of the current candle if the color of the AO/MACD histo is green, the next candle will have a green arrow on it or a green line through it, and vice-versa. Then that candle is skipped and it just repeats from the following one placing an arrow or line on/through the next candle. And also a function that will do the opposite, if the histo is green it will place a red arrow or line on the following the candle

For the 3 candle move, a function could be added to skip one candle after the candle with arrow or line and go on with the process

Since the histograms don't confirm the color until the close of the current candle, the arrow or line can appear on the next candle early just to have an idea of what's going to happen.

The EA/Indi also needs to have settings for how many candles to look back and possibly also be able to function within a specified date/time period

Also, if possible to show in text on the chart the number of candles that had a green/red arrow or line and were actually respectively bull or bear candles, and the maximum/minimum number of consecutive "wins or loss" candles. If not possible, i'll just visually record the data myself but this feature will be the cherry on top.

That's it! It's taking me a very long time to try different settings for both AO and MACD indi's and having this EA/indi will save me hundreds of hours of work and hopefully this massive headache will go away, any help would be immensely appreciated

I humbly request anyone with the time willing to help code this to please help me out. I haven't attached any indi's here because i wasn't sure which one would be best suited for coding this

I've already posted a request in other threads just to reach out to as many coders as possible

- Lets say I have hundreds of open positions buy and sell mixed together (please don't ask how and why)..
- In order to reduce my open positions I want to close pair in hedging position that have same lot size and (Profit Buy) + (Profit Sell) = 0

I have idea but don't know how to code well, maybe we could collect all positions and write it in CSV files to freeze the profit and process these informations by collecting tickets numbers in pair and save these information on a file and then close these position by pair..

It will be great if it automatically run by interval time that can be set manually lets say every few minutes

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi Ryan,

In theory you can only ever have one position per symbol. You can have multiple orders but the the risk is really what comprises your position in that symbol. In short a position is the net-sum of all orders for that symbol. For example if you had 1-lot long and 1-lot short EURUSD then you wouldn't have a position at all because you have no risk on (net-flat). It's important to understand this concept so you can then take the next step to understand how to effectively use offsetting orders (when you don't have a netted account) and "CloseBy" to creatively manage your position without accruing unnecessary costs by making the (extremely) common mistake of paying extra commissions/spreads.

So to directly address your OP, you don't need need similar sized offsetting orders to close them out. You need to use CloseBy and you can manage any order with any other offsetting order.

For example, let's say you have 0.1 lot long EU and 1 lot short EU. Your position is 0.9 lot short. You don't want to leave those floating because you'll be hit with swap on both as well as paying a commission on both when you close them normally. Instead, you can you CloseBy which informs the broker server that you would like to reconcile the two orders, meaning, you used one to make a partial close on the other. Once you use closeby, the order is modified in the terminal to reflect the new changes... you will have one remaining order of 0.9 lot and you only paid commision and spread once on the 0.1 partial close. You can use any order to "closeby" any other offsetting order.

Am looking for an EA that will disable "Auto Trading" on the MT4 platform just before major news, say 30 minutes, and then enable "Auto Trading" again 30 minutes after major news. Where or how can I find such an EA on the website?

Value chart is in interesting indicator really nobody uses...but this description is not understandable...for example the default is not 30 it is 5 ....no screenshots...
