(5min Chart) EUR still not showing strength.. like yesterday PM (GMT) USD weakness is coming from JPY and GBP strength.

Yeah amazing.. but one thing there which I want to clarify: Predicting is never what successful traders do.. We only trade what we see.. Don't confuse us with gamblers or prophets or time travellers..

I liked your post but in all honesty, we are gambling here. With odds, sure, or at least we believe in our system and we think the odds are with us (when in reality they may be stacked against us). A non-gambler has 100% win ratio. How many are there out there, raise your hands!

DXY at support, last 2 days when it touched that support, it launched up strongly. Will it do so again?

Gambling=walk into a casino 50 percent to win on black or red. Ie no edge over the house.
Trading= you have an edge giving you a 75 percent hit rate you dont even have to win all trades to still beprofitable with good money managment, there completley different because we have an edge (edge being a profitable strategy)

Speak for yourself.. I am not gambling..

Let me clarify: A real trader.. who knows what he is doing.. who sees his actions as serious business is simply just like any other trader out there who sells ice cream.. handbags.. gold accessories.. toys.. etc.. because all these people have to know when to buy.. when to sell.. a trader always wants to INVEST in something.. Investing is RISKFUL in its nature.. just because it is riskful doesn't mean it is gambling.. the whole concept of RISK around gambling is the total opposite of RISK around investing.. The latter requires "SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE"

A slot machine.. roulette.. throwing dices.. flipping coins are all gambling.. because your knowledge has ZERO effect on the outcome..

Poker.. Backgammon.. Chess.. Black Jack.. is not gambling.. there your experience.. knowledge.. can have an effect on the outcome..

Know what you are investing in.. that is the key.. In our case: will you invest in EURO or USD? You can find out by using your knowledge and brain and reading charts.. If you don't and you just make guesses you are a gambler..

Needs to break that trend to go down.

Last 2 times it shot down upon reaching the top, this time it doesn't want to go anywhere in a hurry.

I'd say so, yes because each and every trade is a gamble - May as well embrace it folks. Every trader and speculator is a gambler.

Simply by using analysis and having a stop in place manages the risk of the gamble..but it is still a gamble.

Lol, getting up in the morning is a gamble ,, if, IF your line gives out there on your chart it should drop to this weeks current low the 1.22 level will be pesky again

USD/JPY Correlation (inverse) suggests retrace to the blue line above - I'm long off the green horizontal line just under the downward sloping blue line - if it obliges could add fuel to EU downward pressure but still early days.

1.2255 was my last marked resistance.. If it becomes support we still buy the dips.. if it can't hold I will start looking for sell setups..
