I agree with your analysis, yes buyers are accumulating now; it market breaks this intraday resistance level then I’ll open a buy trade with decent SL position.

  1. There are no “special” moving averages. (I.e., the 200 day is not special compared to the 193, 204 or any other average.)
  2. Pricing crossing or touching a moving average does not have significance for future market direction.
  3. The slope of a moving average is not a meaningful indicator of trend.
  4. Crossings of moving averages are not meaningful indications of trends.
  5. Indicators built from moving averages are not reliable indicators of trend.
  6. In short, most of the things that traditional technical analysis teaches about moving averages do not stand up to quantitative scrutiny.

So what are YOUR thoughts on this article? Quoting only a part of the article means zero. When I read the article it clearly, logically tells me to trade above the 200sma to opposed to trading below it. That'
what I take away from the article. My suggestion is to start from the beginning of the thread and take in what andoseg2 is teaching. Play with the moving Averages use the formulas and place them on your charts. You'l
see they are significant. Lagging yes, but significant.
