Thanks for your post on Moving Average... I think from experience, using moving average to trade is a personal thing. I have seen some traders use EMA 2 & 26 as you discussed while I have seen some traders use EMA 8&21 with SMA 21...

Why? I don't know but what works for each individual differs...

This is a very good nice write up. Thanks for sharing this strategy.

I wonder why people lost interest for this thread :-o . Mabe because there is no "buy at green arrow, sell at ema crosses" ?

I am curious if somebody found something usefull on this thread and implemented in his trading strategy. Would be ok for me to know that I didn't lost time creating and updating this thread.

You know better than that...................... I have personally learned many thing from your thread..... I do not trade exactly like you do but have taken a lot from your thread and have incorporated some into my methods.

I mainly track and scalp but do some swing trades as well and when the opportunity is there I basket trade. I personally have found this thread very useful and IMO everything is here in this thread to make your own trading method or strategy. what more could you ask for in a thread......... once again thank you so much for the great thread.

This is a good thread to learn about how to trade with indicators, especially MA. @andoseg, you did an excellent job to share your knowledge, it's up to members to pick up pointers from you to improve their own trading. If anything it's their loss not yours.

hey andoseg2, very interesting thread. this is the most basic and straight forward way of trend following. perhaps introducing thread to the interactive trading section of the forum? would like to trade along with you.

the important part of this thread was not the MA stuff -- that basic and could have been found at baby pips

Its the market structure and how to see PA do a turn and get in with good probability of a good return, with reduced rick. that's the good stuff

I agree with everything that you said. Andoseg2 show us 1 other way about how to use the MA's, simple and very efficient. I am adapting to this and hope to be profitable in the future. Good luck for all.
