It has to cross 1.1765, for the strong sell. After that it's a good selling point upto 1.1725

Numbers of pips gained mean nothing.......One can make 300 pips for a 0.1% gain and another can make 14 pips for a 2% gain....

I agree to disagree - Pips matter, once you can rake constantly pips you can increase lots, betting big lots for few pips can hurt you!

I think pip information provides a level of information as does % gain, both together provide even more info' and pips per total lots traded also provides information. But where the FF movement came from of "pips gained are meaningless" I'll never know.

anyone can pick a 14 pip movement....a 300 pip movement should be respected.

Pip gain doesn't matter and making 100% on 15 pips gain doesn't matter either. What matters is only the question 'Can you do it again tomorrow?'

My daily average is 275 pips.

which is an average of 17 pips per trade per day.

However, it doesn't feel like this is my average at the moment.

Yes..... many can make 14 pips with a 50 pips SL but a few can make 14 pips with 7 pips SL.....300 pips gain with 300 SL needs little skill..

well if it took little skill, why arent you doing it? what have you got to lose? if you have so little faith in your entry that you have to have a 7 pip stop loss then what skill do you have?

Zenny the next time you spot a 300 pip opportunity gain with sl 300 pips and 100% winrate do share ok? But it better be 100% win else i am going to hold you to it.

is your R/R ratio is not at least 2/1 is not worthy.
i'll never get into a trade with tp at the same amount of pips as SL

It is difficult to say.....depends on the market condition of the day and the length of your trading session ..... and trying to gain pips in an environment not favorable can hurt you....market is not rigid and you as a trader also need to nimble..........
