I need to add an alert to the precentualzz victor noam indicator, but it is in ex. Format, and I can not find the mq4 format anywhere, hence it is a lemma. Heya guys, I have been playing with an idea on capturing market sentiment by counting candles, yes I know it sounds weird, but apparently it works.
The idea being, for every bullish candle, you add +1 to the count, and for every bearish candle you add -1 to the count. On very extended moves, the count becomes quite high, with a count of +/- 10 or more indicating a larger correction will occur soon.
In this example the count was started at the most recent swing high. As you can see even though the count got to -4 it naturally keeps fairly low by the ebb and flow of the market.
It would be great to have an indi that can automate this. I am testing it on the H1 as this is what the originator of this idea is using, however it would be good to use on any TF.
He also says he sometimes resets the count every 24 hours, so having a start period setting would also be nice.
Any chance of this?

Is this more like it?? You could also have the separate window Histogram version with the numbers??

The updated version is very *close* to what I am after, but its not quite there yet. Let me post for you an exact manual markup on EU from yesterday with your indicator overlaid on it so you can see exactly what I am talking about. FYI, the first candle starts at "0" but for this example it doesnt really matter.
I can see your indicator is adding each sequential batch of grouped colours, however the correct process is a continuous count with the +1 and -1 cancelling each other out over the duration of the entire day, or accruing the numbers if there is a longer run. It is a difficult concept to explain, and a picture tells a 1000 words, so here is my manually drawn count chart.
At first glance it may seem very similar, and it is, because the range was very sideways and the candles were alternating colours every few candles, however later in the day you can really see the difference...
Below is another example of UJ. Again the longer the trending run of candles, the higher the count, and even though your indicator DID match the same number (-6), this was simply a coincidence, as you can see by the following numbers...
The number is showing the "running count tally" and does not reset on each colour change. I hope this has explained it a little better.

Since you use "TLabel" as a parameter in "DoubleToStr", I assume it contains a price? But then it doesn't make sense that you use "TLabel + DoubleToStr(TLabel, 0)"
For instance if "TLabel" is 1.00, then the output of this code will be "1.001.00", since you just concatenate the two prices.
The first parameter you give to ObjectCreate is the "Object Name". It will not be displayed, but used to identify and access the Object. If you want to display "Sell" or "Buy", you have to pass it along as the second parameter in "ObjectSetText".
Besides that, you don't need to use "NormalizeDouble", because you use "DoubleToStr" with "0" as digits. This will truncate the price to a full number. "DoubleToStr(1.234, 0)" will return "1".
