I took this NZDJPY trade now, you can see the bigger picture and my entry, green line is my TP1. What do you think about it?

Thanks brother, i am a bit confused by james16 strategies too, when you find his candlestick pattern (like buovb,dbhlc etc) do you just entry the market or use another techniques to make sure(like movin averages 9r fibonacci), and how about the stop loss and take profit itself?

Hey Bigindoda,

What's the hour close of your feed?, in my feed I see another formation of bar (but remember, the shape of the bar doesn't matter, it's the overall story, meaning the location)

Price had hit the FTA, so you should decide what to do now

Hey Aryonell,

I don't just look at the bar shape but I see where price is now (flip on support and resistance), sometimes there will be pattern and sometimes it won't, but it doesn't matter.

I don't use anything besides a blank chart and horizontal lines, that it.

Remember the following things:

 

  1. The market doesn't care about bar shapes
  2. The market doesn't care about the TF you are trading
  3. The market doesn't care about indicators

The market is working based on support and resistance and that's it. It’s that simple

Not taking it, just want to see if that stuff works and if it will hold or not

Well... that box held and here is where I think most new traders fail, you should move your SL and protect your capital.

If that box held there is no reason let price testing it again, so moving your SL just below that box reduce most of your risk.

Hello jacob12, i did not wait enough time from US market close but i got nice profit. These days i got more trades than before, maybe i am not selective enough. What do you think about my entry? Green line at 0.88000 are good TP1?

Hey Bigindoda,

This is a very tiny PB meaning if you will try to cut out you will have a big negative R.

In addition, FTA is very near, so overall, I wouldn't take such a trade

Both setups were already hit FTA, so that's not a high setup from my eyes.

Hey kojak,

The site isn't active since Mike had left early this year, Jim was away from the group for the past few years as well....

Overall, many seniors left after mike (Kevin with his options strategies for example) and there isn't any traffic in the group these days.

You can still find a great amount of material in the shape of videos and such, the problem is you will have to make it on your own since there are no instructions there.

This group had given me so much and I want to give back.

It was a great group back when I had joined in early 2009 and it's so sad that all of those good people had gone.

I see many new folks here struggling and I want to try and help them as much as I can.

I'm about to make a webinar (I guess it would be for beginners), to show them my trading concepts, which are all around j16 stuff, I still don't know when I will do it and I will need a minimum of 10 people to want it, if you want to be part of it, please PM me with the following data:

1. Your location (so I know what is the best time to do that webinar, i'm in Europe but will make my effort to make it even in less convenient time zone)
2. How many time are you trading?
3. Are you profitable / BE?
4. How good do yo know j16 stuff?
