It is working now, thank you.

I was just putting the indicator on my chart without using the template. I'm assuming that's why is wasn't working.

You need also change timeframe on second indicator. Having same indis with same timeframe won't help, will it?

Check both indicators. Set one to 1 hour and the other to 4hour.

I set the signal line to 'current' so whatever timeframe you use it on, it will show the signal line of that particular timeframe.

There should be no problem, I've uploaded the template and indicators.

You are absolutely right, the best way is as you do, when you break the side and the main trend is in one direction and is cut by the lower trend. Thank you

Keep coming up with idea's that suit you. If you're happy with the way I do it, thats awesome.

EURAUD - Tricky trade to do. We could have one upside before down, but the oscillators are showing a sell.

GOLDen trade based on signal cross and trend line break. I did lose a few pips around the circle area so I'm not just showing you guys the good trades. This particular trade could just reverse in the opposite direction but thats something we have to accept about the markets. We just need use stops and break evens accordingly.

Can you follow the rules please. If you find something that works for you, then use it.

This is another combination I created. It works well back testing. There is a lot of noise with this combination and thats why I wont use it...

There are a lot of other combinations. Just find what works for you.

I broke even on the Gold trade. Thats trading for you.

Congratulations! It is the best system that has been posted in FF for very long time!
Couple of improvement suggestions, though:
1. If using H4 chart for main trend, better take trades from M30. If wanting to trade H1 charts then main trend should be taken from daily. This way the entries are faster, and besides, neighbouring timeframes never work well together.
2. Trade should not be taken if entry is too far from last low/high. Normal wave size is approximately 3 * ATR. So, for me it is always the limit.

Indeed. If you won't do it your visual backtests will be wrong because both indicators are not synchronized on chart. While scrolling indicators look like they are changing values.

Hi all,

I've been testing out these new settings. It definitely makes entries and exits easier. There will be signals that don't make a lot of pips but we simply use the trend line filter process. Let me know what you think.

I hope all took those GBP trades after the rate hike yesterday. The system showed a sell for all GBP pairs.
