Well okay, the other version then I would bet on the downtrend for at least 3months, from now till end of January, at which point I would reevaluate. You can quote me then.

It could be break the channel downside anytime, but it is NFP week, big boys will load on Friday... 1.17 is coming before any lows

Looks like things are getting a little spooky. The PA is in the middle of the channel (daily chart) which gives me no incentive to go long or short. I guess I'll have to wait it out or maybe look at smaller timeframe charts. When I'm bored I'll take a small position and see how green I can stay going long and then shorting.

I have posted 56 charts and analysis out of 176 comments . I checked your ratio as well, well done!
But I can give you a chance to think about this:
a. Charts: it was attached and as you can see it was attached in former comments. adding value is a must and without charts, your words are not represented. Agree with you
b. Facts: you see lines on my chart, which are facts. it will NFP on this week, which is a fact. Based on these combination I made a scenario, that the price will follow the channel and we will see 1.17 on Friday. The scenario was based on 12 years experience with Forex, where I worked for brokareage company for 5 years.

And if you follow this thread, you could see that I entered several shorts last week with an average of 1.1784. But just for you:

H4 Outlook and Sweetspots for Next 12 Hours

  1. For now we have tight range, most probably between 1.1650 and 1.1620
  2. If bulls can bring it back up above 1.1650 and also above 1.1675, only then we can have the chance to revisit 1.1715 area
  3. 1.1620 is nearest level that bears must overcome for bearish continuation
  4. 6ema is flat and therefore creates choppiness on H1 and smaller timeframes
  5. Overall trend is bearish, but it needs time and meanwhile bulls are probably eyeing 1.17 levels for a retest

today, germans bank had day off. so the quiet around euro may be for this reason.
we might see some movement starting tomorrow with the ADP data in US.
i am waiting to retest 1.1690-1.1700 for a short setup

Seems like it doesn’t want to move no matter what, we didn’t even react at all to today’s data. Bulls need to get over 1670, bears need to get under 1575. In between those numbers I am not sure how anyone can read into the next significant move. For now I guess we just wait for the Fed tomorrow, Fed chair announcement (which seems done, but who knows), then employment data on Friday.
