Nothings impossible. It's just extremely difficult. Hell crossing the Antarctic was 'impossible' yet they still did it?

Euro's days are numbered. Economic improvement is too diverse to cause any demand for the Euro at sustainable 'rallying' levels. The Euro project is political in nature, not economical. Bet on USD strength, even if it doesn't occur the probabilities are way higher than that toilet tissue Euro is.

Does anyone even know what the 'Carry-trade' is?

May the odds be ever in your favour.

p.s Market manipulation is a piece of cake. Any good Algorithm can manipulate a currency or equity if volume levels and perceived market extremes are suitable. Again it comes down to probabilities and profitability. Anyone in high finance can tell you that.

well... not that much prediction, but manage information and take decision based on information. less forecasting, more analising. then you will have that point when you can enter long or short

Yes I understand. Also, if you can't beat them... I would like to have/manage a bank, the bank. I imagine it must be fun as f... to press enter and things happen.
Can you afford to take that chance?

there is lot of pressure in that job as well. its not a paradise job. you have to deliver week in and week out

Around 5 years ago,maybe longer,I forget,there where some "petro dollar" outfits that used to do
what was called a "driveby" where they would hit the market with a yard (1B) spread across 3 or
4 dealers at roughley the same time,it seemed to happen on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon
London time,the market would quickley fall around 50 to 70 pips and then over the next couple of
hours it would be back where it started,dealers soon started to refuse these orders.

I imagine the cocaine and new Lexus is the most fun. Yet for many it's just a job and a salary. Movies like "Wall Street" have been very successful is skewing the perception of Wall Street. While millions can be made (millions not billions), the vast multitude still take the subway and look for the specials. You can see them in the supermarket. Grey hair (if any) and grey suit with grey outlooks on life. Trust me, find your passion and do that. Finance is nothing like what you think it is.

And no, its not fun. It's extremely stressful and after a while it becomes essentially dull. This 'excitement' is merely your imagination creating events and perceiving excitement as it's outside your norm.

You think this inflation data will have any impact whatsoever? Drag's already announced his plans. Nothing will change that even if inflation reached 5%.

All the data they publish will only have a temporary effect, but the course has been set, at least for the next 3months [downtrend].
Can you afford to take that chance?

More like next year and a half bro. Draghi's policies are to extend to next September at least if I recall correctly. Anything beyond this relating to USD movements.

I marked 1.1635 as nearest resistance and at this stage I would like to shift back to selling, and as close as it gets to 1.1644.. My targets would be 1.1610 and maybe lower.. the market is slow, normally I would aim for 1.1570 at least.. anyways.. time will show..

If I can open any sell trade here, I would try to close my sell with minimum loss once I see a touch at 1.1661 (therefore stop losses should be above that level)

I make no predictions or statement towards the long term trend of the Euro. Yet my sentiment is evident in the above posts. (No one will buy 'toilet-tissue' will they?
