Yes, FX, but eurusd is like one third... so FX 3T, 1/3=1T... lets estimate 0.5-1T.. but that is for a whole day... so 1B dump in a short time on 500B daily volume would sure do something...

I also heard its almost impossible in FX... Inside/manipulation.. almost impossible except for central banks or bank netowork... Still wonder what 1B dump would do...

yes. but in fx market, sell=buy. your dump is powerless if the price is not right and it will not atract buyers

And how is that should be important to us ? I don't see your point of showing this " cut out with whole bunch of zeros " . If you came here to flood Thread with meaningless post and quotes I suggest you to find another place to have fun. I did... many different info but it seems noone have a clue. Why is 10PIP not good? Give me 30x 10PIP signals, clean as possible, scalpier the better...
and we can both become multibillies out of 100EUR;D

Ok I'm sorry, happy the thread is alive though. I have problem finding traders volume... any suggestions?

I don't scalp nor it has 0 matters to me how much money you need in order to move single currency in one particular direction 10-20-30 pips. Ask Twee.

First you need to know this:
The forex spot rate is determined by supply and demand. Banks all over the world are buying and selling different currencies to accommodate their customers' requirements for trade or to exchange one currency into another.

I want you to focus on the part which I colored in red: All the participating banks are probably using an algorithm in their co-operating servers, in other words, a piece of code, which constantly calculates all the numbers coming in from all these banks each and every millisecond. Once numbers are updated in a blink of an eye, they are published back to outer servers and clients 24/7.. So, to know what amount of money flow makes, for example EURUSD, move 1 pip higher or lower can only be known by the managers of this piece of code. We can make gazillion of our own personal guesses here but the truth lies within the brains of those IT guys and their managers.

I have red all of those and many more (guesses) with the help of the google/forum(s), I also just asked randomly here (again), just in case I'm lucky
At the moment I was looking for traders trade volume (without success). And the third thing, since I have the opportunity to ask you, how would you estimate if one trader is just lucky or if there is any more/longterm potential (also really hard if you ask me)? To me it's a function of a different things over certain time/trades/volume..., but would like to hear yours ...

There has been a debate about this years ago here (2011?) and the consensus based on some report from BoJ was that for 1 pip of UJ they needed around 30M. The daily volume was similar to what is today. 10B (10 yards) is A LOT and can move market significantly.
