I see I am very late to this party but came across this thread and hope someone is still looking at it...
My contribution would be this: The music I would use to teach trading is the musical style called the "fugue". It was invented by J.S. Bach and he was, and remains the master of this baroque style. Simply put it is a musical theme that is introduced at the beginning of the piece and repeated over and over though out the different musical "voices", high, low, and medium (Alto/tenor). The theme is interwoven with other complimentary themes that all intertwine to produce a beautiful and complex work of art.
This is much like the markets. A theme (the same theme) that is repeated over and over, but on different time frames. Higher and lower time frames combine to intertwine and produce price movements very complex but similar to the notes of the music. Once the theme starts (in the music) you can hear it immediately and which "voice" it is in...then follow it to its completion. In the same way, once your recognize the market theme playing out (in any time frame) you can follow it (and profit from it) to its completion
I have included this YouTube reproduction of a famous fugue. And (although they are notes) you can almost relate to them as price variation as if it was a multiple time frame chart. Fast, medium, slow time frames all color coded for your convenience...Take a look!!
