live trading is supported in the free direct version but i believe its only with ninja trader brokerage

Right Click and put a Buy Order in a Short or put a Sell Order in a long trade that way u get ur SL.
Didnt used NT for a longer time now , i hope that this works

Got another 1:1 harmonic completion. I got in one candle too late (my fault, I was surfing the internet and not watching closely), but pulled out 10 points.

EDIT: Actually, 2 candles too late. Still was expecting the 1:1, so it was worth it on my risk:reward. My stop was 10 points, target was 10 points.

Hello Traders, I just wanted to update you with the performance so for for the month. I am flat not so I can do it. I had some shorts from last l night that I closed. I am not trading today as I was flying and just got back so I will catch up on the thread later and post more.

A look into the life of a professional trader. Nothing to hide full transparency.

Interesting that the majority of your trades were shorts in a very bullish market!

Total no of trades 76 in that period i only have found 8 trades 6 of them BE 1 win and 1 loss maybe i should have critical look at my tradeplan

Yes the last few days I entered Harmonic completions at point D and they all worked out with the exception of the losing on I posted the day before yesterday and the drawdown of the 10K.

I had nowhere near that NinjaTrader separates contract and fills so it looks like a lot but it’s not hard to figure out exactly but it wasn’t that many

Which brokers from outside the USA do you have ninjatrader? Or YM for trading?

It would be interesting to know how many actual trades you made in that time period. Is that easy to figure out?

Yes I will tell you. I just have to go and count the markers I’ll do that later and post them. I’m out now and responding from my phone

Open a DOM, next right click on the DOM and go to properties, scroll down to 'middle mouse button is stop market' in general section and highlight it, on the right side click the arrow and choose the option true, and you are ready.
To place a stop loss for a long position you need to click wheel on your mouse next to desire price below the market at the moment, reverse for short trade. You might be prompted to highlight HOLD button in the upper right-hand corner. You can do this by pressing the space bar or right click on HOLD button.
Be careful it is easy to make mistake in the heat of trading, get used to it by practicing in the sim ...
I hope in NT 8 version it's identical like in version 7.

Hello traders!
I've been really busy at work so I was not very active on the thread the past month.
I've been trading in between but was not focused enough.
Lost my profit from the 20 trades series I did some time ago. Then lost a bit more. 20% of account lost.
I think the main reason was: because I was busy I could only trade at certain moments.
So I sometimes took trades on the immediate OF when I had a little time. But I accumulated too many losing trades because I didn't (couldn't) take every trade that fitted my rules. So that hurt my expectancy.

I was also testing other platforms. None of them really convinced me like NT did.
So I bought NT now :-)
Starting a refilled account of 1000 euros again.
I'm looking forward to start over and using NT for trading!
Starting with forex, will trade mostly USDJPY and EURUSD. Hoping to grow account to 5000 euros and swith to futures.
Well at least that's the plan :-)

Glad to have ye back, Iv been following you for a while, but only recently been active on this forum. Good luck man and keep posting your updates.
