My buy trades have been stopped out at 1.1858.. and overall made enough pips for today.. right now I am on sidelines.. The H4 chart I shared earlier tells me that price is closer to the buy zone.. therefore I prefer to wait for further drop until I can buy again.. If it wasn't a Friday evening I would have sold but I personally prefer to stay away right now..

Hi everyone, I'm Jaume and I'm new in the forum. I was not about to invest today due to the news, but in the end I decided to trade the news at 12:30 GMT. I put a pending order at 12:25, and something strange happened to me when I wanted to move that pending order at 12:28. It showed a message: "Trading is busy" during the two minuts before the news. The broker I use is Activtrades, don't know if it's a mistake of them or it's just that we cannot trade just before news... I could have got 5% of my capital instead of the 3,5% I got. lol. Anyway, it has been a good day for me ;D

Hi all
I also wait H4 Candle to close. I didnt expect to be a so fast retest of the last high, but this is good new for me. Didn.t brake the red line (200SMA).
Stochatic have a had and shoulders with a sell signal.(for me and in my opinion.)

3 steps for me to enter in a long sell.

1.Now i wait the H4 Candle to close under the blue chanel (MA5-Low and MA5-Hight with somooth setting).
2.I wait the TDI to enter under 50%lvl
3. And after 1 and 2 i wait the stochatic to give me a good entery and to confirm point 1 and 2.

Meantime i will play with buy and sell in small TF.

Thanks for your contribution and welcome to our thread.. looking from the bright side you still did well for the day and that's all what matters.. but check the policies with your broker to find out what you could do for next time.. every broker has its own rules and differences.. once you find out maybe you can invent your own counter strategies against such broker policies.. anyways.. end of day and week.. best wishes and happy weekend..

Now I realize my short position and switch long.

I focus on uptrend.

First entering point is asia session low, B band low; supportance level 1.

I'm wiilling to buy price is falling over and over until 17830.

Dax all time high and rooms still up. Only reason USD weakness what keep eurusd here. Soon it will sink.

If I may offer some advice regarding broker selection

 

  1. any broker that prevents you from managing orders during trading hours is not a quality broker. Broker may change conditions, like for example increased margin requrements and so on but only if they notify you some time before the change. Broker should not block trading completly or change condition without notice (even if they may have legal grounds to do it).
  2. Verify that your broker is doing business in acordance with your country legislation and that it's regularly supervized by goverment. Check that you country legislation is up to high standard and up to date. (if you are from EU, there's also Markets and Financial Instruments Directive)
  3. Good, honest brokers also seek certificate of quality from internationally recognized regulators like FCA and NFA.
  4. You should also check if your broker is increasing spread beyond reasonable size in times of volatility. Some increase is expected, but huge increase usually means dishonest broker.

EDIT: When you signed contract with your broker, most of its content was about them not taking responsibility for all the thins that can go wrong. Basically you signed the contract with devil. That is the price of doing business. Responsibility falls upon you, so make sure that you understand conditions for trading.

Have a feeling we might see 1.1800 today. USD/JPY seems to be holding up while EUR/JPY looks like it could lose a few pips in a hurry if it falls through the low of the day. My two cents.

I said earlier yesterday dat should price hit d 1.1870 price region - it will give impetus for Bearish move.

And did it happen......heheeeeeeee. Braaaaaaaaah!

Yen might settle at 111.98 or may be cross 112.

EUR went 3 days up and 2 days down might finish around 1.1815. Thats ok. It broke down the some significant SnR.
US data is little miss but it was better than previous month data. Market reacting to that. I made some shorts from the top after the data and ran it for 4 hrs. Earned good money from it. I missed that spot (1.1870)yesterday. Today it went there and i made the call. Market made a very unusual move making a 70 pip above. usually in these data time it used to be around 40 pips. Even the 70 pip move didnt get to the new high. So it got shot down. Before the data release it was trading around 1.1807. If it was trading near to 1.1840, it would have made a clear new high and may have closed near to 1.1860. But it didnt because the price was pushed down already. It just wiped put s/l of shorts and made long orders to wait more time.
