Below are my important levels on H4 for Tuesday.. I highlighted the area where I will focus the most.. although no red news for Euro, Tuesday still might be a little faster day than today.. my half cents..

Tomorrow will be another positive day for EURUSD, morning will offer chance for entry on low.
Possible change of direction in the second half of the day (only if day has high activity).

Good chance of reaching price level 1.178.

Using stop-order is a lot safer than using limit-order ...
In limit-order, we have to "assume" that a peak/valley is strong enough that it won't be broken. Yet, we all know that the market likes to break its own periodic records (longest run, highest peak, lowest bottom, biggest move, etc.) ...
A triggered "imaginary" stop-order of a "strong and significant" peak/valley could be taken as the first sign that the market is moving toward a direction. And if we're "lucky", we might be able to get a 2nd-chance to ride along in the right direction, even a chance to pyramid ...
"Buy high sell higher, Sell low buy lower" is another way to make money ... Let's stay green safely ...

I like that. And it's actually more true. That's what you should do. With trend. ( me too unfortunately. . Have to remind myself that every day)

Good morning

Bought 1.1772
Reason: I see it long, weekly respected meanprice, D1 shows confirmation of buy signal, USD shows weakness across the board, Gold bullish after sharp correction, respected technical level (bought Gold too), DAX bullish......
that's all I could think of to talk myself into buying this.

Small position, let's see how this goes.
I admit there is a little bit of boredom in this

Stop: 1.17052
Target: none.. (will trail Stop, looking to get 1.195-1.20x)

(please keep in mind I mostly trade the long timeframes and I can be so so wrong. Please don't copy, if you do, do it on your own risk and don't blame me)

forgot:
price could form a "right shoulder" for a SHS formation around 1.189x on daily (D1), in which case I close.
I also trail the initial Stop a bit more agressive on this one, because my entry is a bit early. (there is speculation in this trade based on correlation)
Please don't copy. My "early entries" usualy backfire and I don't mind losing a 70 pip Stop trade. (it's not intraday)

Yeap that's a good trade though. But I think USD is gaining strength. I am not saying that, I think the chart is saying that. EURUSD daily is printing a clear Head & Shoulder. I am peronally waiting to see the right shoulder then I am gonna sell. And there will be huge space to fall.

I see the same shoulder around 1910 and a neckline around 1654ish. If 1910 hit, before a new LL, I will shoot for H&S to 1.12 with every spike, though i really do not believe this will be the case. For now i am strongly bearish on the bigger picture(or USD bullish on almost all pairs that im keeping an eye on), and for today i dont believe a real breach of 1800 will happen, maybe a touch and close below in H4 (again not likely from my pov). If a good close above 1800 happens i am going to buy it to see 1910 or look for the shoulder confirmation around that i'm not sure.

Btw, im an almost noob so these ideas may be totally wrong with no good supportive ideas behind who knows =)

It certainly not going to come down easily. Its gonna play a upward for a while. But after the us open i see a good short because US treasury will be opened today. We will see a dollar strength and Yen weaker.

What matters to me is will today's daily candle close above 1.1795 or not..

  1. If yes, then price definitely wants to go higher and 1.1775 area might become support.. then I would still buying the dips just like today..
  2. If no, I would wait for at least some 30M candles close below 1.1765 first to have confirmation that upwards move is shifting back to bearish..
  3. Overall bears should watch 1.1760/70 zone..
  4. 1.18 looks like a place to blindly short, but I never do such aggressive entries..

I markt with blue the area what you said Ata-Turkoglu .
For me this is the right place to sell.
I will sell with every new hight.
Om H4 is not so clear the divergente but on H1 is more clkear the divergente form the stochatic abd TDI.
But my feeling is at on M15 it will test again the new hight, and that will make on H4 a very nice formation.

Very dangerous strategy.. adding more and more sell or buy trades into drawdown.. It requires very very good knowledge and understanding of support/resistance levels on micro and macro level.. all I can say is I hope you know what you are doing kmic14 and besides all, good luck..

I will keep buying with every dip as long as we are above that blue rectangle you draw on your chart.. Daily is above 10 sma and I have to keep my longs as long as I see bull pressure on smaller timeframes like 30M or H1.. I don't prefer to go smaller than that.. I use M5 only at the moment just before I enter.. sitting and watching M5 or M15 or any other timeframe is something every trader must avoid.. not good for trade results.. not good for spine health.. not good for anything.. I recommend to trade H1 H4 or Daily. That's my number one advice to all of you.. it is just advice.. take it or do what you wanna do..

I.m trading more on H4 and H1. But i also place short time trades like that sell order when is a retracement after every new high. And i do similar with the buy, i close before retracement.
If the trend is long term i hedge the trade or i close with a los. But here for me is not long buy.
I know what you mean and is true with the small TF you need to be there all the time under pressure, but if is a small volume is ok for me. Is a very bad habit what i have.

It looks like a double top which haven't formed for a long time. Maybe a good sell on the way. Catalan is driving some of them. Will know after this 4 hr finish.
There will be important trade after the US open.

If it crosses 1.1755 and more down to 1.1740. Its done for the bulls. Dont buy after the 1.1740

I hate watching my own trade here.
This is one of these "buying top of range right at S/R, beased on wild guesses on correlation" trades that makes me either look utterly stupid or genius, depending on the outcome
Looking at it intraday, I could talk myself into long as much as short.
Critical phase... if the little bull survives Wallstreet Open, I'm positive.
But I am totaly uncertain on this one.
Personal Solution -> don't look at it and don't fiddle about with it, go do the dishes
