Moving Average With Volatility System

Hello fellow traders,

Below is EA it uses 7 Simple day moving average and sixths as the volatility measure.
It sends stops that it deletes every 2 hours. It tries to catch the big moves.
Moving averages can not be traded on their own on the lower time frames they need H4 D1 help.

I have made some refinements. I will explain strategy in next post. Remember an ea is there as a tool of thearsenal you use in trading.

Up trend starts when price crosses above 7 day simple moving average. When price is above the 7 day simple moving average it is a buy zone. Vice versa for Sell

Then there is sixths. the period for sixths is 365 bar days. When price reaches the high of sixths and then begins to go down from that high we are in a sell trend.
When price reaches the low of sixths andthen begins to up we are in a up buy trend. When sixths is in buy and moving average is in buy conditions are ripe to look for a buy

I wil give a example from currency pairs that i am looking at this week. EURGBP, GBPUSD,GBPJPY.
EURGBP is above the 7 day SMA while GBPUSD and GBPJPY are below 7 day SMA.
At the start of this week GBPUSD nad GBPJPY have moved up in price. They have moved back close to the 7 Day SMA but have not crossed it.
This is called a pull back. Now we wait for sellers to continue the down trend as represented by the price being below the 7 day SMA.
If price crosses above the 7 day SMA then this is not a pull back but start of trend. SO right now you can put the EA on these pairs .
On wednesday we have FOMC thursday we have ECB talking and friday we have US inflation. One of these events will trigger either the sellers to come in
and we benefit from that . But if the news triggers buyers well no trade.

I have a simple method for helping me know a currency pair is in pull back.

What i do i go look at the signal I look for the pairs which are in huge draw down. This tells me those pairs are due a reversal.
This is where the EA comes in. it will place stops in anticipation of a reversal. it deletes the stops every two hours checks of condition is still ripe for a reversal
or if the potential pull back has turned into a trend start it will leave the market

Let me state clearly this is not a set and forget EA . You have to understand the condition for putting it on a currency pair and also know when to remove it and start looking for another pair to put it on. I do not know what can happen if you leave and forget

if lady luck is on your side and you left ea on for good you could double your account or blow your account.

Below is template explanation to follow

Take a look at H1 template. The lawn green 148 SMA represents 7 SMA on the Day chart. When price is above it we look for buying opportunities on a pull back.
Then there is a 38 SMA magenta colour. When price is below 7 SMA and is below 38 SMA we are in full blown Sell trend. When price is below SMA 148 But above 38SMA
we are in a Sell Trend pull back. The pull back ends when the price crosses from above 38SMA to below the 38SMA.

the above link confirms the analysis i gave above about GBP.
So if GBP rise is not start of trend then prepare to load up on some pips.
Other traders have already openedEURGBP buys I have placed a buystop 10pips above current price

USDCAD was in an up trend. It pulled back below the 7 day SMA. if it can rise Above the the 7 day SMA we enter buy position.
So will be watching USDCAD. Well looks US data needs to come in support of a strong dollar move. The major data is on friday.Inflation figure above expectation ensures interst rate increase which is a strong dollar

Well above i mentioned the news events that possibly could stop the GBP up trend started this week. Well none of them did it was some brexit news. Well the EA has stops that are deleted every two hours the EA then looks at current market and positions itself accordingly. Well it caught the news this morning . very nice pips pocketed easily

my live account was on 32eur before the news. the EA bagged 30 EUR.the signal is called smash on mql5.com

maybe if you set NewsStops to true and other stops as false. you could bank quite a lot of pips in a month.
