My entry from yesterday. I was not going to be able to be active yesterday but found an entry before leaving. I will discuss it further during the trading session but I wanted to post it since I forgot yesterday.

{quote} Mr Pip, Do you think it is good to trade YM immediately, before forex, or just hop on a small forex account and learn how to trade before trading YM? What are your thoughts, because I see a lot of people trading YM, but with a good Money Management system, you have to have atleast a 5000-10000$ trading account, which is quite big. And ofcourse you don't have to deposit the full amount, but only 30%/40%.. Would like to hear your thoughts on this. Kind regards, Sheep

I would trade FOREX until you have the emotions under control, can execute per rules and have the pocket to move over to futures. Futures is not that much more your money actually works more efficiently. There is better leverage which is also a double edge sword. For me it's better and cheaper the only thing is that you can't trade less then 1 contract. On the flip side with 1K you are in business $500 per contract and $500 of margin trading at $5 a point is a hell of a deal if you are consistently profitable. It's a kickass way to build an account fast without the drama of FX

Good morning, Need some help. This morning was made longer term harmonic 1:1 to the upside and i expected deeper retracement but intraday made small NSH. {image} So my question is if the market should be exhausted to the upside should we avoid catching these intraday swings to the upside and wait for a deeper retracement? Or set aside this completed harmonic and if we get good rotation still jump in for the long? {image}

The answer is simple, trade the expectation. Be aware of the main swing and place your stop in the correct area. Short term and longer term order flow are often different and often have different expectations. Which one are you trading and trade that expectation. Proper stop placement is critical.

Reasons for the trade. The sellers have been showing piss poor corrections. We have amazing projection so the expectation was for a weak correction. Price confirms this by not being able to get past the 38%. The expectation is for a NSH with good projection. Price initially makes a weak NSH and starts pulling back again look at area A. Area B shows buyers coming in at short term support area, this shows that the buyers are still healthy.

Price started moving in favor but then the bears came in and put in a complex correction where the bulls then came in at the longer term support area of the 38% Area C.
