Funny things can happen in low liquidity with the micro-contracts. Here's what looks like a fat finger error... going through the playback, someone traded 2 contracts, and instantly lost about 20 pips.

GMCD is micro-cad, CA6 is the full contract.

If your fund size is less than 10k. It's better to trade spot market rather than micro futures. There are good STP or ECN brokers out there.

I'm in the learning process and trying to apply the same methodology Damian uses for the YM to 1H FX. Just using microlots to start off.
This is usdjpy long 1H, target was 1:1, stop was around 112.085 (-45), target was hit pretty quick. Didn't wait for NSH.

Just started going through your course. Please advise if this is how you would have marked the chart up?

Just wondering, does the following observation applies to your trading as well?

In shorter timeframes, momentum is extremely important. If price moves up aggressively, meets structure (resistance), then have high probability of breaking structure.

In longer timeframes, however, if price moves up aggressively, meets structure (resistance), then have high probability of retracing.

USDJPY Analysis

Intraday: NSL

- Price made a NSL at 6am GMT
- 2 and a half harmonics completed

Expectation: Bears would be interested in completing that 3rd harmonic. Bulls haven’t been doing much. Will look to see what happens. Too early to make a decision

Longterm: NSH

- Market is overall bullish
- Price has been correcting sideways in the long term and quite deep
- There is a long bear harmonic that the bears might look to achieve before price decides to go with the long term expectancy
- Will go with intraday expectations

It's quiet in here today. I have been lurking on this thread for quite a while now and I'd like to make a contribution of some sort so let me post a trade I did this morning (my timezone). I will not elaborate on it and let anyone who wants to analyze it see for themselves. It's a very easy to spot short-term trade at 5M timeframe.

What I know is that Heikin-Ashi chart is composed by "candles" that are calculated in a different way then the classic japanese candlestick. For example the HA close is:
HAClose = (Open + Top High + Lower Low + Close) / 4 of the current candle.

I honestly didn't used it yet in my trades, but this afternoon I tried to apply that to my chart and it looked much clearer to recognize order flow and structure then the classic chart. I think I'm gonna try that during tomorrow session.

Edit: I just don't know if and eventually how can I apply the classic bar by bar analysis to that chart
