As the thread creator I feel obligated to say that I am very sure all our members here care a lot about all the tragedy that is happening to all the innocent people in various countries around the globe. Right now many unlucky families suffer in Syria, in Myanmar, in Puerto Rico, in the Caribbeans, in Haiti (Haitians never stopped of suffering for years) and many many more each and every day.. I am sure you all are watching such developments around these issues with great attention and while keeping hope for a better world.. Yes it is not good.. and finally the tragedy in Vegas.. there is not much to say except wishing and praying and most importantly: working for a better world individually..

Having said that, this thread is really not a good place for discussions.. not because we can't but because the goal of this thread is to focus on trading the EURUSD currency pair. I understand you all feel obligated to express your feelings when it comes to tragedic events but please try to do it on facebook or other popular environments.

i give you an example : now it is trading at 1.1740 . Does it mean you must sell it now ? Not necessarily . Wait for it to touch a Resistance level which today could be 1.1760 and then if you see that it goes back down quickly , sell EURUSD

My friend,

  1. If you like to trade breakouts sell on breakouts,
  2. If you like swing trading sell at channel upper edges if you know where your channels are,
  3. If you like to scalp sell around retest areas of swing highs,
  4. If you like to go with the trend you already should be short since 1.19 levels,

I think you got the idea lol..

There are some approaches traders use but for those who don't know S/R levels at all here is the easiest one. We don't want to complicate things right?

I added a second support line to the daily level (green support line). That line is probably the reason for the current hesitation of bears.

Current set up Short 1.17430 euro TP 1.17160 . SL : 1.17520
Although it might get stalled at the 1.7200 as support so that would acceptable as TP.

Early rise is a bit messy for quick typing>.<

You mean short at 1.1743, TP 1.1716 and 1.1720 as support... trying to correct your numbers.. and also could you mention your SL please..

Hi Ata,
I'm on a nice wave right now. I'm trailing at +20pips and my TP is at 1.171 at the moment BUT my more important support is drawn at 1.167 (which I found confirmed in your chart). Now, in a recent post you said, stick to your plan! Should I or should I not move my TP lower... as I have my trailing stop?

If you have a TP, then it should have been set before you took the trade to 1:1 or 1:2 or whatever risk reward amount you prefer.

If you have a trailing stop then you trail until you got stopped out.. you shouldn't have both..
