Which can be changed. It's a matter of trust. The thought that any woman or teenage girl may be forced to carry a rapist's baby is abhorrent. Since Rees-Mogg made those comments, I really went off him.

People have to realize that we are in a severe culture war, and this is a world wide movement. The NFL and the protests that has been accompanying it is just a microcosm of the larger point I am trying to make here. Essentially everything has to be boycotted with our wallets. It starts with Google, MSM, Hollywood, and anything else that is considered the NWO and the Dark State that operates world wide with impunity. I can not for the life of me overstate this enough! Our freedoms are under siege and it is a world wide problem affecting Western Democracies! The Commoner VS. The Elitists! It's quite that simple! At least we know the face of our enemies!

This is the main rub, and will continue to fester until justice is served or another distraction is purposely contrived in order to bury something with times passing. How did the "white water" scandal fare over time?

Labour is the party in opposition. They sit on the other side of the House of Commons and they trade blows to the party in power. They have a Shadow Cabinet. Diane Abbot is Shadow Home Secretary meaning she would be in charge of the security of the country if Labour got into power. John McDonell is Shadow Chancellor. So with Corbyn, those three frightening muppets would be running the country if Labour won. They are not that far behind, given the money tree that Corbyn promised during the last election.

Having just read back through preceding posts and taking into account my (limited) knowledge of where you stand right now in the US vis-à-vis the budget etc etc. you can be forgiven for thinking I was commenting on US issues from an American perspective. Interesting that both administrations appear sabotaged from the inside...

That manifesto - I couldn't believe my ears - I did wonder if they were setting out to lose completely and couldn't even manage to do that right, then I wondered if they were trying to sneak all the bad news through under the radar and get it out of the way quietly while the furore of Brexit eclipsed everything else. Then I wondered if they were just plain suicidal. I came to the conclusion of stupidity run amok.

(But then my definition of a politician is Lying, cheating, thieving, backstabbing bast@rd). I guess those are the required qualities to even be considered for such a post and the more they ascend the greasy pole, the more strongly they need to epitomise such characteristics.

There are situations where abortion has commendable application. In some situations I believe it should be a woman's choice. However the whole subject is as charged as a discussion on the RoP and as a person who can see both sides I would rather not participate further in this discussion.

I don't agree with his comment either, but it is about the only thing I don't agree with him on. I look at the probability or likelyhoodo f him changing the abortion laws and it turns out they are zero. I admire him for being honest. You know what you are dealing with. He is not judging anyone or trying to impose those views. They are his beliefs. I would prefer an honest PM with which I don't totally agree with, rather than a PM who I don't believe at all. Whatever question you ask him, he will answer honestly

Ya see - this is where I get the impression he doesn't actually need to be involved in politics or anything else for that matter, but kinda does it for something to do. In my eyes that makes him a much better and more open candidate than any of the ambitious career politicians that knock around the corridors of power. He doesn't need the money or the prestige and most of the time probably feels like everyone- else there is from a completely different universe let alone planet. No real axe to grind just a sharp forensic mind...

I think people in here know I really don't like Elon Musk.

However the way those rockets from space X appear to come back to down and land is just incredible. He has an incredible team of engineers and software guys work on that.

I agree with everything you say about Rees-Mogg being the perfect antidote to Juncker and his cronies. Sometimes though, someone says something which eclipses everything and turns you right off them. He didn't have to tell of his abortion views, but he did. Sure, you can argue he was asked, but since when have politicians answered every question and evaded none? I have to conclude that he wanted us to know. Now why?

Ok I see, but that in most is the opposition, very much like the US has with the two party system, however that has morphed into one party as a lot of career politicians are being unmasked recently for their blatant obfuscation to protect their self interests.

Caesar was right … bread and circuses will keep the peasants from being quite so revolting, except that today it’s we peasants who are paying handsomely for the distraction.

The Conservatives have taken the middle ground; mostly left of middle in my opinion, left of Tony Blair. Labour have gone totally commie. So those are our choices. If you support UKIP, EDL or Britain First, you are shunned and seen as a racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, extreme Nazi nutjob. They have a cat in hell's chance of getting any sort of power.
