Monthly chart is just the same logic in my point of view. You will have a stop loss set once you open a trade even on a monthly chart. The risked amount of money will be the pips difference between your trade opening price and the stop loss price even with zero leverage. Risk always exists and it is nothing else than the loss you would want to accept before placing a trade.

Thank you Ata, your response was quite enlightening. I do appreciate, but I also want to under stand if the 15 minutes or 5 minutes time frame is per candle stick or the time frame duration.

Still i'm seeing the Bearish signs for euro. Waiting to cross below 1.1743.

1.1743 - 1.1690 around the GDP data release time

it is still struggling to cross 1.1784 which I highlighted yesterday. lets see if it can catch that with this move. I suspect downside is huge if it fails though

I dont think it will go above 1.18.. My view is it will play around 1.1770 - 1.1790 and a pull back on US GDP data. Expecting a higher data. Even if it misses it wont cross 1.18.

Buyers thinking the price below 1.1750 is good or maybe reasonable price to buy again but they're all stopped out by the high sellers.
It will end the month i.e tomorrow around 1.1705. Market delaying the downward travel time.

For CHF - 0.979 - 0.98 , JPY - 113.10, CAD- 1.25, AUD - 0.778

Oh sure.. the timeframes are named after their duration. Each candlestick represents price change of the same duration that their name tells: For example a 15 minute chart consists of candlesticks where each of them is created every 15 minutes. A 5 minute chart consists of candles which form every 5 minutes and so on and so forth.

If you are a complete beginner this thread might not be very helpful to you since we are mostly focused on trading.

Below is a video link for you to grasp the very basics about candlesticks. I am sure there is tons of free information on internet that you could easily find via google, wiki, or youtube search.

You're right. It looks like bulls lose their breath again at that resistance threshold.

I am aware of unemployment claims and final
gpd but if you folllow up on the history of the market through those news... they never really made an impact.
Maybe final gdp is 1 spike of about 25-30pip out 10 gdp news.
And so here we are at 1.1770 (bullish retracement). Looks like I am not crazy after all. If this setup goes beyond 1.8xx I would like to say we could end up at 1.85x. Otherwise we will be in the zone today 1.1720-1.1784.
Friday would be a good day to decide whether it will continue retracing or the retracement is done.
I still stand my ground that we will see a drop down to 1.167x area and then a gap down on monday.
