If I can close this week positive It will be miracle. It's always good on Monday and very bad on Friday! Maybe I need to trade on mondays only . Anyway my short still open to 1730 from 1920. If E decides to go up from here I will add more short at 1890. I still not sure about trend reversal, even it looks good and made almost 300 pip from the top. E can sustain 400-450 without changing direction. For now Selling.

Anyway seems breakout is finished thing. So sell small lots adding in the 1.1800 1930 area.
Now 1840. Hope to correct...

How to jump to a specific date on MT4 by only using the Keyboard?

I want to share with you a helpful tip that might spare you a lot of time while trying to check the same bar on different timeframes. I come across many educational videos on youtube where the instructors get mad of losing the candle they wanted to give an example of each time they change timeframe. Some put vertical lines on to the candle and try to look for it once they change the timeframe but they have to slide back and forth and it is often annoying to watch and complete waste of time.

Instead MT4 has already a solution for that for a long time but nobody seems to know about this functionality.

If you look at screenshot below, all you have to do is to first disable auto scroll. (You can do it from the "Charts" menu by clicking on Auto Scroll or buy simply clicking on the Auto Scroll icon (on or off) on the top of your chart.

Next you pick your chart. Click anywhere on the chart to make it the active one. Then hit spacebar on your keyboard. That way a tiny textbox will appear on the bottom of that activated chart. All you have to do is to type in the whole date and time that you want to go to. To remember the right format you can always put a vertical line on your chart and look how the date is printed there. That way can quickly remind yourself the right date and time format.

I hope it helps folks.. no more crazy chart scrolling.. lol

Hello all.

Update on my EUR/USD longs: not much to add. Just been adding some more longs at the bottom of the range of the past month or so (inside pink box), in anticipation of trend continuation. Basic stuff, nothing exciting. I been long for almost 20 days now.

The only other major change was me exiting some of my brent crude longs. I posted on these in the oil and gas thread.

Daily EUR/USD chart posted with my longs of the past few days.

Hi All,
just checkin some intraday levels. I draw a channel on M15 and Iam keeping my Support and Res levels from higher TFs and the D1 trendline. IMHO it shall go up and bounce from my circle at 1.187x. Cheers

I would venture that it will turn down before 87, but around 60-65

Just checking my 5 mins Time frame for Point Of Control.

The general trend is now up I believe with resistance at 1.18845 (the last stop hunt area) then onto 1.19350?.

... my next support level is at 1.8002 then 1.1785? Fibo from the last move says 161.8% retracement @1.177x ? after retest of 1.1825?
