Hi Alicia19, thanks for posting, I am following your idea with a lot of interest. Maybe some other traders will have already observed it, SMA89 closely matches Ichimoku cloud whatever the pairs and TFs.

When to enter:
Buy stop above the first bar that closes above the 89 SMA and above the cloud.

As can see the rules are flexibles in the way that you can add your ideas to change when to enter ,exit or place your stop loss.
I was started using 2 indi and Filipo1 added the cloud to keep building the system.

Have you already tried with an exponential average instead of the simple? I'd add the Stocastic Oscillator because lately I find it a good indicator for trend changes.

Any trade winning trade is a great trade.
Since you use trend lines.adding TD demand line lines and using higher time frame can help you to find your TP levels
